The key that made it special is that it was one of the first anime that aimed for a more adult audience as opposed to kids shows. It portrayed both sides of the war as justified reasons and complex aspects, so there really wasn't a clear bad guy.

So cool. The round one eyed ones are called Zaku's. The red one is Char Azanable's who is one of the main heroes. The main idea with Gundam is that space colonies go to war with Earth, and a new type of human that has psychic powers and abilities is born in space.

Oh, I had the green mecha model years ago that was in the middle at 2:49/2:50. Good times building that too! Lost it in a move though :(

@StarDr0ps those 4 are pretty much from one guy. I usually get that same number every video regardless of the subject matter because this dude is an obsessive no-lifer who has been at this for about 2 years now if you can believe it.

However as this video is anime-related I expect that number to grow for the simple fact that some anime obsessed folks out there take their anime waaaay too serious! I got shit for calling Gundam Voltron as a joke in an earlier vid.

@StarDr0ps He's not a troll but a fullblown nolife stalker and blocking doesn't prevent from giving negative marks apparently and the guy is multi-handling. He's probably got them buried in my friend list or subs to keep track of me. I've kind of grown use to him (ie bored) as some kind harmless little yip-yip dog in the background.

O.O.. AWESOME!!!!!! they have any other anime inspired places like that to go to??? LOL.. would love to check them out of they do.. I haven't seen the original Gundam but I have seen Gundam Wing Endless Waltz ((heero and duo my favs)) and I have seen. Um.. Damn that Gundam show where they had the competition going on and there was the Dark Gundam. Can't remember name will have to look it up..Anyway those two were awesome.
