Razr are not crap trust me... i do not like them but they are indestructable! my uncles got ran over by a 16 wheeler and only had a crack on the front screen and it was fine! and my cousins friend threw one against the wall and it wasnt that messed up!

Razrs suck. They break easily, but still work. My friend's top half entirly got ripped off but his phone still works. He has to use speaker phone but it's really funny looking. But OMG if you drop it, the phone will get all stupid(er). It's an ok phone that I would never recomend to anyone.

the only thing abou the iphone is that it has full internet capabilities. other than that most of the other phones are wayyyy better than the iphone in terms of techonology, but they dont have wifi+full webrowser capabilities, which currently only iphone has. and it has come in really useful for me. so as soon as lg and nokia put in a full internet i will get their phones. but for now i am waiting for the 3g iphone.

The reason a person might benefit from both a touchscreen and an inside keypad is incase perhaps you damage the touchscreen by dropping it or something along those lines. If you damage the iphone, you're screwed. If you do something to the Voyager, you've got another screen, no big deal. And I'm sure these phones aren't cheap to replace. It's simply thinking ahead.

I would like to see how it navigates the web...the iPhone's ability to view websites is amazing as well as the ability to use your finger tips to navigate, enlarge/decrease the size. This phone seems pretty interesting too and its on the 3G network. Google is also trying to come out with a phone as well so competition should be interesting.

I love Macs and Apple, but I would not spend 400 to change my service, especially with Apple's track record of releasing updates every 9 months. Voyager has a nice design, and for those who don't like or just plain not good at full fledged touch screen typing, the QWERTY KB is a godsend.

But the Voyager has a very poor screen, it's heavy, bulky and has TERRIBLE battery life, no good software like the iPhone, and poor internet coverage since it's on Verizon. AT&T doesn't matter since 90% of the time you'll be on pure WiFi anyway. Something the Voyager doesn't do well. The iPhone has already sold 1,654,000 units the Voyager won't sell more than 230,000 throughout its entire life.

If you are smart you'll get the iPhone.

3G data drains your battery like hell. This phone won't last a day on battery life. I have an iphone and the touch screen is very responsive and that is the reason I can type so fast on the touch keyboard whereas the voyager has a touch screen but you have to make a firm poke to select something. Everything that the voyager can get. It's called "application downolads". And the reason why the Voyager is not as thin as the iphone is because the voyager opens to reveal a qwerty keyboard along with another large screen. Basically its not as thin as the iphone because it has two large screens.

See verizon usually gets the same new releases in phones or better that other carriers get sooner or later. The thing about Verizon is that you just have to wait a little bit more because they don't rush to release a new phone before making sure that all of the big gliches are worked out in the new software first. If you're going to spend this much money, it might be advantageous for you to purchase a smartphone or pocket pc instead. You can do much more with a xv6800, samsung i760, or blackberry 8830 than you could even imagine with a Voyager.
