joecrazydirt, I'm not sure what your comment has to do with this particular video, but as an organization the Genocide Intervention Network does not endorse boycotting the Olympics. We work full-time on encouraging the United States government to do more (see 1800genocide dot com) and our initiatives on China are simply one more way to tell the entire international community to take action. You have to read the news more in order to really understand the link with China and Darfur. Sudan is a very large oil supplier for China and other places. There country should have a wealth of money from selling this commodity. Because of a corrupt government, not everyone benefits from selling oil. The non Arabs begin to protest against the government b/c of the lack of schools, roads, hospitals, etc but yet the country is making soooo much money on oil. This protest type action became a....

...problem for Sudan. They went to China with this problem so China decided (to help protect their oil trade) to give military equipment to the government to fight these protestors. So China is not just sitting back, not being involved. They supplied the weapons that's killing thousands in order to protect their oil trade! That's the problem with China. So yes....Boycott China and this darn Olympics!!!! Read some news articles..this situation is sad and the people their need our help.

Did you know that U.S. is also one of their trading partners? How do China know that there was Genocide in Dafur? And even more so how is it China's business when its Suddans responsibility. If you blame China for Dafur, then you can blame all the world because they all have blood on their hands for arms trade.
