Yeah no rivalries like this anymore in basketball. My have all time favorite play is when Jordan went up for the lay up got it and the could and 2 Knick players fell down Jordan yelled "That's right SIT DOWN". Cant do that anymore. That is old school street ball I love it. Back in the days is how you play ball with intense and passion.
The way these Knicks played, in today's NBA they would never have their entire team suit up for the season or playoffs because they'd be serving suspensions for hard fouls
6:56. I'm old enough to have saw this live (on TV), and have seen it replayed a zillion times over the years. I've always wondered what MJ said. I hear a couple of "Yeah's!!!", but that's all I can make of it.
Jordan was ENRAGED at the end of this game. At 8:15 he completely blows off Ahmad Rashad's attempt at a post-game interview. Then at 8:33 he walks right past some suited guy who was attempting to get a pound out of him. MJ was in the zone. The RAGE zone!
Easily the #1 Eastern Conference series of the past couple decades. MJ was pushed to his limits and then in Game 7 he said "fuck it" and went Super Saiyan on the entire Knicks franchise, including Mars Blackmon!
Lebron would actually have had an easier time in the 90's than now, since there was no zone defense in the 90's, which forces you to shoot over the defender.
Lebron is an average shooter so it's harder for him to score against zone. But he can't be stopped from going to the basket, and with no zone allowed he'd physically dominate the players of the 90's.
@fdlmania That's a myth. Teams regularly got away with players camping in the paint and teams did play zones or versions of it. The defensive 3 second rule today renders zones pretty useless. Add to that the no hand checking rule which gives perimeter players all the advantages, as intended by the NBA to increase scoring. With the predominance of more true centers in the league in the 90s, Lebron would also be forced to shoot more jumpers.
What a great series! One of the best overall teams ever in the Bulls against one of the toughest veteran teams in the league. Jordan's will to win this series was unbelievable and the Knicks didn't back down either, these were all great games---Thank God for youtube--
in general i hate people like that fan 0:10 who looks down when jordans walking towards him but then stares at him afterwards when jordan turns his back..why
This video I got when I was like 8 years old was called Michael Jordan air time they talked about how intense a series. The play at 7:00 really highlights how the Knicks played especially against Jordan.
jjutube07... Michael actually says, to Patrick Ewing, after that hard foul "Don't you ever do that to me again" Michael said in an interview years after that, that Patrick was one of his best friends but "he was ready to go blows with him." Greatness of Jordan. I grew up Chicago and I miss his playing days. MJ Forever!!
Oh Yeah definitely. I think when he said that he was just talking about the entire series in general. The knicks were like the new pistons and they played dirty. so excellent point!
i have never seen anyone with a competitive rage as intense as michael jordan! i mean when he yelled at mcdaniel he looked like he was gonna stomp his lights out!! gives me freaking chills!!!
It's amazing that players from the opposite team will try to foul or hit MJ hard but they are the ones who fall down hard. Just like what McDaniel did in this game.
he left cause a member of syndicate want to quit him not actually his dad well add that too we know his dad has been killed .. but for me the syndicate want him to retired and only 3 championship ring for him ...3 for 3
man knicks got lucky in 94 they got to thank mj for that 2 bad, they could ot take advantage n beat houston lol, poor patrick, wouldve been great to see rockets vs bulls in 94 finals
yeah, I'm sure other YouTubers may have some of these games, but it's such a great series, I just wanted to put them all up and have all seven games in one place, in case anyone is interested in watching all of the games

What a plastic dunk by Jordan @ 0:49 but didn't count. At least tv replayed the dunk.

You should get 3 points for blowing a dunk because you jump too high.

In todays NBA McDaniels foul on Jordan probably would be an automatic flagrant.

@goldenapple91 He'd easily lead the league in technicals too.

By 2008-2009 Playoff standards, Jordan's and1 @ 6:42 would've been an obvious tech. Game was better in so many ways back then.
