How can you use the triggerpads and the keys on the axiom 25 (with operator) at the same time? I would like to play melodies and hit a trigger pad once in a while during the same song. Any idea?

okay i have a problem and i have read just about every forum for it on the internet with no luck.. i have an axiom 2nd gen 25 key. i use fl studio 10, and i cant get the pads working for shit. if anyone knows what to do please help me.

your dumb. drum racks is way better than impulse. so much more sounds, features, and flexibility. of course the default sounds are gonna be crap thats why you do the exact same thing with drum rack. add your own sounds. duh.

my prblem is...how can i set up that the pads are in the impulse-!! the problem at my beats the piano is on the impulse!

Hi there! Thank you so much for this vid! The mapping thing just got a lot more clear to me! Just one problem though, I'm using the akai mpk mini. When I get to the 8 triggerpad thingys in the impulse sector, I map them. Then, when i hit my drumpads, nothing happens. The triggerpad things on my pc are mapped to my pianokeys. Is there a way to change this? (so when I hit the C note, the drum i mapped works. when i hit drumpad1, nothing happens). Hopefully someone can help!! Thanks in advance!

Thanks for this video, It helped me figure this crap out. Only one issue. If I want to play longer samples (Think minute long intros) I have to physically hold the trigger pad down the entire time. How can I set it to just play the entire sample and then stop?

Try changing the pattern on your snapshot. You might have accidently stored certain samples into your trigger pads memory bank. You have 20 patterns to mess with but you need pattern 18 to run in order to manage your trigger pads using impulse

yes i set it to pattern 18 but i doesnt play when i click on the pads. I checked all the settings but i have no idea to make this work-.-

If u follow my direction step by step you won't have any problems..Remember to have your Snap shot (Upper left hand corner) set to Pattern 18 just like I showed in the video. It's the only way that the trigger pads are going to enable you to use them using individual samples. lET ME KNOW if u need more help.

@DjTheVision If U hit any of the trigger pads you'll notice that each one changes the digits under CC (Continuous conroller)..Depending on the octave that you're using, once u hit your piano keys your CC will automatically read 147..You might have turn your cc off accidently..Try tapping the " zone range" button..Let me know if U need more help..If u follow my video step by step you shouldn't have any problems but if u do drop a comment
