  • A lot of these big box and mail order places will hype HP anymore as they make a lot of money on selling them and don't have to support them. HP basically means horse poop anymore

  • @icanafforditt I service printers for a living, been doing HP for over a decade. Since 2007 the quality has dropped dramatically. Nice in theory but they are total crap from China. bad firmware, bad software, very weak structural and loaded with tons of bad capacitors not to mention lots of things engineered in to prevent use of non-HP supplies. I won't have one newer than 07 myself, I have enough repair work to do for customers without having to repair my own too. Buy an older refurb.

  • I couldnt agree more. I have an officejet 6400, endless problems, and useless support from HP who refuse to acknowledge there is a fauly. AVOID HP
