so let me get this straight... We pay extra for our nuts through taxes, to the farmers, even though we could as consumers be purchasing them more cheaply from other suppliers, so that everybody who consumes and produces is happy, but those with a higher income and are more heavily taxed are paying extra so that everybody else can pay less for peanuts? How can you say that that's a fair system at all? It only works out because you're stealing money from people who aren't consuming the majority.
