I spent the whole day on the capitol bldg lawn. I'd heard of this mass of people on the national mall, but never got to see it, until now. This secondary mass couln't get near the capitol lawn, or even the reflecting pool. There were easily well over a million. A 35 year vet DC cop I spoke to said he's never seen anyhthing like it, ever! Did the inaguration have more? Maybe, maybe not, but who gives a shit? This was against washington, corruption, taxes and bullshit scar appointees

I was there. There were certainly over 1.3 million people there. Police and park services employees estimated 1.5 million at the beginning of the march. What you are seeing is the front stage which had a few yards blocked off. The crowd was crammed in all the way from the White House to the Washington Monument. All of Pennsylvania Ave was shut down. There was no fighting no angry yelling. Only politeness, comradeship, and a positive attitude that people can make a difference.

In all fairness I think they all have had to sell their souls to not only the oil companies but the drug co., energy co, and the insurance companies. Again good to know that there are people who can see what is goin on though.
It's a shame that your view toward the Washington Monument is not a bit more elevated so that the true size of the crowd can be revealed. The fact of the matter is that FOX NEWS estimates are absurdly over the top. President Obama's inauguration estimates were 1.2 - 1.8 million. I was there. People on the mall could hardly move it was so crowded, and certainly people could not sit down!
