I met Robin in the 1970's when I was doing comedy at the Improv in Hollywood. He was the most serious man I ever met, this, after he did 10 minutes of hilarious improvisation on stage live. I've studied him over the years. I believe he is one of if not THE funniest man who ever lived. Wit, animation, voices, characters, and lightening-quick recall. He has a warehouse of jokes stored in his head. It only looks like it is coming out of nowhere. He is a comedy genius. Also a very serious actor.

Bob Hope was a very Great comedian for those of us got to watch him. Well to be fair he is a known stealer of jokes lol. I like Robin Williams. I wouldn't go as far as to call him a genius. I have ADHD and I'm pretty sure he does lol.

And I seriously think that intelligent people with ADHD often give the rest of people this impression of 'manic genius'. Just because it's intelligence mixed with quick talking, impatience etc. So you get this manic, super-sharp intense feeling.

I also think Tarrantino has it. Same with Jim Carrey and.. Ricky Gervais.
