some program allow to pick the coordinates where u want to record..

some program allow to record a certain window/portion within ur desktop..

ms paint is more powerful than photoshop, if u don't plan to animate it...

The only benefit he would have recived from a tablet would be evedient in the first 10 seconds of the movie when he is doing the rough sketch. After that he is using an arc tool which would be easier to control with a mouse. I am a tablet user so I'm right. :P
