sorry she WAS NOT born with that voice, her voice was a lot better, the surgery she had and was not to talk for 6 weeks, One day she yelled and that damaged her voice. Still love her music, but she will struggle with some songs, depending on the pitch

@cathrynafagervik Yes, you and 'StevieNicksfann' are 100% correct! AND after breaking her 'voice rest' orders, she had her 1st big hit: "It's A Heartache." Actually, she was very lucky this just gave her a distinct raspy voice that worked in her favor. It could have destroyed her career completely.

Bonnie is soo amazing. She is such a nice person, too. I saw her live, recently, and she took the time to meet with all of her fans after the show. I got to meet her and she was sooo kind.
