Katie looks like a little kid... Camile's my favorite out of these, I love Claire Hilliers different voice, Tegan over reacts XD, Emma looks like Vanessa Hudgens, Emilie was my favorite thought this whole comp XD((Back of haters, I thought she was awesome!)), Claire was to strong for Dorothy, Sarah wasn't all that good, Philipa can't move her face, Tasheka was pretty amazing.

I was honestly shocked when Emilie got through, as I thought Emma, Claire Harbourne, Phillipa or Camille should have got through. That being said, the one part that Emilie did sing in this performance was very good.

Oh well, I didn't watch the entire show until my friend from the UK told me about it & out of the "wildcards" Emilie was def the best but, they didn't give her enough time to sing here, I think. I think Tegan and Tasheka deserve a chance, and possibly Camille. I really like Claire Hillier's voice, but think she wouldn't really suit Dorothy, but in another musical she would be fantastic.

There is loads of colour blind casting in the West End actually - Billy Elliot for example has been played by boys who are Asian and black, as well as Caucasian. Many black actors have been cast in Shakespeare's History plays, for example Adrian Lester played Henry V. Colour is seen as largely irrelevant now, unless pivotal to the character (for eg you couldn't colour blind cast Ragtime). If we can suspend disbelief enough for people to burst into song, why does it matter what colour they are?

No, because in Dreamgirls their ethnicity is relevant to the plot. In Wizard of Oz it isn't. You may not like colour blind casting, but it happens all the time in professional productions now, which have had 'real castings'. Nobody was complaining when Lea Salonga was playing Eponine and yet young Eponine and her parents were Caucasian.... Realistic. No. But neither is spontaneously bursting into song and dance numbers.
