    i miss the old days

  • lower dragon punch........quality

  • skilled player? lal, seems like this is programmed, hes doing the same moves over and over and over, same combos, not even some variations :P

  • Super Street Fighter II Turbo will always and forever be better than Super Street Fighter IV. I had to add that

  • 0:58 PROOF that this is on easiest. Have you ever seen a dizzied character recover with that motion on hardest? They shake crazy fast, takes less than a second to recover. She barely moves.

  • Your play with Ken is really good, A1Major. top marks 2 you.

  • SF2 father of all fighter games

  • Thumbs up if you hear HI-YOU-KID

  • thiz shit stinkz

  • Have to agree with the core mechanics, Street Fighters physics are much superior.

  • i use to love doing the quad uppercut

  • Mabey mortal kombat is a rip of. But what they did was take street fighter aand made it better. How can you say mortal kombat doesn't flow well it flows perfectly. Plus the characters are so much cooler in mortal kombat and the fatalities. Those are fucking awsome.

  • @TheHibert

Because these are all opinions, including yours. For the most part, SF has a more "legit" or even "hardcore" reputation. To this day, people play SFII in tournaments, never mind the HD remake. That's how well balanced and enduring it is. Not only did it put fighting games on the map, but it's become a part of pop culture. Down, Right, Fierce. "...he was throwing hadokens at me." -Nick Diaz, MMA fighter, etc.

MK has its merits, but it will always play second fiddle to SF.

  • @TheHibert

Mortal Kombat (all versions) is terrible compared to streetfighter.

It just doesnt have the CORE mechanics that make a decent fighting game.

Theres's no depth or fluidity in MK.

Even the new Mortal Kombat - is still running basically the same fighting engine as MK1.

The fatalities and gore are fun but it will never be a serious vs fighting game like Tekken or SF because it can't match the collision depth/balance of moves as these games.

  • Street fighter doesn't even come close to mortal kombat. Why anyone thinks this shit is better will never make sense.

  • @TheHibert yeah because street fighter is better dumbass, its way more fluid and better look at mk 9 they took the bar from street fighter fuckhead, x ray move, a fancier and more brutal ultra or super, ex moves, street fighter came out first and mk took the stick movement from street fighter, mk is a more brutal version of sf that doesnt play as good

  • @TheHibert If you were around in 1992 playing arcades then you would realise why street fighter was revolutionary. Why do you think the SNES was bundled with it? It was the most anticipated SNES game of all time. Some spent hundreds on getting a japanese copy when it came out.

Mortal Kombat had gore and violence but the game play was terrible until later versions

made it a bit better like Mortal Kombat 2 and 3. The 3D versions have mostly been utter shit.

The new one looks quite good though.

  • @Playster3 i don't know why ppl think it's Ryu > Ken when it's clearly not, why do u think Ryu has that headband? Because Ken kicked the shit outta him down some stairs and bussed Ryu head to the white meat lmao, also true SF fans kno that Ryu didn't even win the Street Fighter Tournament Ken did. Ken dragon punch > Ryu's, Ken rich, Ryu poor (who da fuck would wanna be Ryu now?). Ken is greet by his woman at the end, Ryu mite be gay when u think bout it cause he never has a chick. Ken > Ryu

  • i used to be master of this game ...

played with every character and play all day long whit my buddies back in the days

    thanx man

  • Why isn't Spiderman in this game? And why doesn't he use any supers?

  • Getting a perfect doesn't mean using skills. This is just basic repetitive gameplay

  • how do you do "shoryuken"? XD I've got that game and I can't do that movement =C PLease!!! tell me HOW DO YOU DO THE SHORYUKEN??!?!?!!?!?! please!!!

  • @javiercrawford1 look up an internet forum!

  • Honda > ALL

  • Ken is the best!!! I don´t see why most people think of Ryu as a Street Fighter icon nr.1, in my opinion Ken has always owned Ryu in every possible way! Ken is the most complete and coolest character of them all in Street Fighter series, end of story! Ken=Street Fighter

  • I think if he also recorded from boot up and showed 8* diff I would submit this to Twin Galaxies. I think this would be the first Perfect game of SF2

  • He Fuck That Lexus Up !!!!!

  • no manches eres bueno

  • Sonic Fuckin' Boom!

  • Im Crying.... I want to be a kid again

  • Im Crying.... I want to be a kid again

  • Shortcut to Ken and Ryu fight. 2:58

  • is xbla sf2 based on the arcade version?

  • Amazing! He even has the bonus stages down to a science .

  • It's average difficulty. You just played a bit robot with a real robot. Ain't that fun.

  • my players favorite is Vega :)

  • very skilled player,i believe the dificulty level is true, the combo attacks are great !

  • you totally cheesed Ryu!

  • ARE YOU KEN!!!!

  • Holy Fuck!!!! The leg Of Dhalsim shit....

  • Most of the comments here and on this guy's other videos are beneath stupidity. If you aren't familiar with the ORIGINAL ARCADE VERSION of Street Fighter II: The World Warrior (which this guy is playing), then don't comment. This game isn't Marvel vs. Capcom, or Street Fighter III or IV (or the SNES version!). The hits did massive damage (this was before "combo based" gameplay became popular) and the AI would keep to certain patterns, even on hard difficulty.

  • @LeavesinTibet This game invented Combo Based Gameplay. There are tons of Combo's possible in this original. Although sure the hits are a bit overpowered. They changed that in Champion Edition.

  • @LeavesinTibet

I have'nt commmented on this video before so not sure what you're talking about, however this is footage of a noob "tap throw" player using A1 patterns and cheapness then throwing it up here. This verison is the easiest of all to complete simular feats even here without the tap throw would be worth while, but this is STANDARD, every kid in the arcade back in the day could complete the game in this manner.

  • @LeavesinTibet I absolutely agree. Look, for all those ppl who thinks this guy hacks (even if that is the true), the fact is that I have seen a guy doing this in an arcade. Seriously, some ppl are just that good. I have also seen a guy in Japan go through the entire game with one hand - Live.

  • Haduken!!!!!!

  • this is not at the maximum difficulty level

  • Basically, anyone can put the difficulty on 1 and kick ass all the way through. Using an emulator with the save states and a little bit of video editing makes this "look" perfect.

  • @kltiswhoib It would be incorrect to look at this video as a display of skill. Then again, the title is misleading and the description is insufficient.

  • holy shit !!

  • the must defeat a sheng long

  • so many shoryuken !!!!

  • ELECTRIC SPOON KICK

  • this cant be the hardest difficulty settings.... great anyhow

  • very good

  • effin mad skills

  • Chun Li is wearing no undergarments(:

  • Perfect

  • why do you insist on pretending this is the hardest setting? its obviously not

  • That dragon punch is a beautiful thing to witness!

  • Ken is cool!

  • Your playing in a Arcade right? Your not playing arcade mode on your snes are you? You could tell the differences bettween the snes and real arcade.

  • I could throw hadokens at my friends all day... XD

  • guyil is the best on this version... kens to slow in this one!!

"HIGH KICK HIGH PUNCH taptaptap back forward back HIGH KICK HIGH PUNCH............ INVISABLE THROWW

  • What is he saying with the jump punch? Old Mutant?

  • Kens the only way to go!

  • thats nothing. try winning all matches in under 10 seconds. i can do it

  • @cannabisbisbisbisbis . Why don't you show a movie of your 10 second beat. Biatch !!!! :D

  • Um dos meus primeirtos jogos na infância. Como não lembrar dele????

  • lol they didnt stand a chance

  • ryu es el mejor

  • this is not ahrdest difficulty, and u have damage set to maximum

  • I will admit you're a very skilled player no question about that, but I have to agree with some of the other comments this is not hardest difficulty, the CPU barely attacks, they never block and I can instantly tell you have the dmg level set to maximum, I play Street Fighter 2 on CPU difficulty level 8 and I myself can do Arcade mode without losing a single match or continuing but the CPU is no way near as lame as it is on your videos.

Easiest difficulty or not though still awesome videos

  • he meant the hardest setting for him

  • @InfernalMatter

How is he a very skilled player? Ken's moves are very simple and easy to master with little practice, I don't see anything in this video thats spectacular.

  • @ShinobiXRevived i'm sure the fact that he managed to get a perfect on EVERY stage regardless of what difficulty it is set on is proof enough, I can only get 1 or 2 perfects on CPU level 8

  • true im playing as we speak on console and... well lets just say im getting pwned and im actually playing

  • @InfernalMatter I dont think he is playing in easy mode thought. If you see in the corner of the screen at the beggining it says credits and we all know what that means. He is playing in a REAL ARCADE! NOT ARCADE MODE IN HIS SNES.

Im pretty sure you cant change the difficulty level in a Arcade machine. You know what I mean. If im wrong PLEASE correct me. I played in a arcade before but im not really sure if you could change the difficulty level OR that could mean the computer just sucks! :)

  • @luigidude15 yes you can change the difficulty levels. maybe he is playing on mame.

  • @luigidude15 Yeah you can, in the real machines there were switches that controlled various settings for the game including difficulty. If he is using MAME which I most certainly assume he is they emulated those switches.

  • @InfernalMatter You're pretty gullible, I'd say. This looks pretty obviously like it has been done using an emulator, probably with slowdown and save states. Not being a skeptic here, I just know what I'm talking about. In particular, using progressive Shoryuken to avoid Guile's two Sonic Boom attacks. It's pretty obvious in many ways. I shouldn't even have to post this.

  • @InfernalMatter cant agree more..

  • @InfernalMatter

1)A1 Major didn't play any of this.

2)This was done with extreme slowdown and multiple saved states

  • @masterquest91

And what makes you claim this?

  • @dunnono00

    1) I've seen the real video from the original source

    2) The source it came from is a database for these types of gameplay videos.

  • @masterquest91

Well... don't keep us in suspense. Point to the database/original source in question.

  • @dunnono00 Sure thing.

    tasvideos. org/422M.html (remove the space)

This person also did a perfect run with Zangief.

  • @masterquest91

So... I have gone to this address and see a tool-assisted video for "SNES Super Street Fighter 2 (USAv1.0) "Ken Version" by someone named W.S. Saturn. Where do I begin?

Your link is for SUPER Street Fighter II video. A1Major's video is Street Fighter II: World Warrior.

Your link shows the Super Nintendo version of the game since. A1Major's is the Arcade version as you can see by the ."Insert Coin" message at the top right corner of the screen.

  • lol even a perfect on the barrel stage

  • This can't be the hardest difficulty, when you jump on them they do not block that´s strange. I wish id have a good camera to record my MAME fights, you would like them!

  • what a fuck, this is at level 1,!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • cool video but this wasn't in the hardest difficulty

  • i think i would love to see you put the level up on the start of the game b/c while playing this on level 8 it was impossible to get some hits off and they blocked alot.

  • It's funny in SF2WW Ryu looks like a kid in the portrait and in SF2CE he looks more manly same with E.honda

  • Ryu looks 12 years old on the Ken Vs. Ryu screen.

no wonder they changed it in turbo

  • chun li is hot^^ like her legs. ;)

  • @digitalistbesser Who doesn't?

  • @digitalistbesser Chun Is smexy

  • @digitalistbesser yeah I always got distracted by those

  • I am looking at this clip every single day bevore work, I am crazy :D

  • I did not believe you at first... But you are good! You gave no chance to Ryu... I want to see how you do with Vega... Thanks for the posting! You've got skills! Cheers!

  • the elephants are annoying, but I like the gameplay.

  • in my street fighter when you receive a hit in the defense position a very little damage in signed...why yours not???

  • Special moves like hadoken, shoryuken, sonic boom, etc.. gives chip damage while jump hits and standing hits like jabs, mediums, fierce, etc... doesn't give chip damage.

  • That's called "Chip damage" and you only get chip damage from special moves like hadoken/sonic booms in this game.

  • This version only makes you recieve damage when you get hit by a special and you are blocking, in Hyper Fighting and Champion Edition, it takes damage in Block for both standard attacks and specials.

  • mmm... i am not shure about that. in champion edition at least, it is the same

  • SHORRRRRYUKEN!

  • shoriuken !!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!

  • This guy's good but I doubt its Hardest difficulty setting

  • SO FUCKING FAKEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

  • The damage radius for the sonic boom is at it's front, he dodged it.

  • Is this where teh flowchart kens get it from?

  • This guy really sucks.

  • play the video to 4:40 and press then the "STOP"-Button, you will see, this Sonic Boom hit Ken, so you don´t get perfect, SUCKER !

  • machs besser

  • Umm...He Goes Through The Attack...

Plus,As Proof,The Game Still Says "PERFECT".

  • what mod are you using cause you clearly got hit with a sonic boom

  • i have the original sega game and it is defiantly not this fast they are really slow for some reason

  • u could nvr do this in the consoles back then...... the moves were slower so there's not much manipulative combos

  • Good job on all perfect.

One miss (& accidents do happen) and you have to start all over...

  • he is using a cheat call autoblock, which blocks all atacks automatically.

  • wow man that takes mad skills to do how long did it take u to master the perfects?

  • that's right! In MAME ROMS you can't set the hardest difficulty and that's why he kicks ass...

    FFGirl15 thanks for that! :)

  • There is no hardest difficulty setting in MAME ROMS

  • What is Ken saying when he blasts fire from his hands and punches in the air?

  • Ken is saying "hadouken" when he shoots a fireball and says "shoryuken" when he uses the uppercut.

  • wtf! you got hit by a flipping neck breaker by Chun Li in the first match blocked and no damage was taken, thats a special move for her. nice try, but thats cheating.

  • Chun Li's "flipping neck breaker" is not a special move

  • strategy guides online and at book stores say different.

  • Maybe it was for later versions of the game (like "Championship Edition" or "Turbo Fighting"), but as far as I can remember, the flipping neck breaker was not a special move in the original Street Fighter II.

  • it lists it as one in regular 2, along with the "sinning bird/star kick" and "lightning kick" thanks for the input though

  • Sorry, but you're wrong. It is NOT a special move. Learn your facts next time.

  • the good old times :D

  • E Honda's stage will always bring back so much memoories

  • Some great combos but this is not on the hardest difficulty setting. Nice try.

  • Get a life hater

he made it look easy and you made your self

    look stupid

  • He dont get dmaged when he cover his self?

  • nvm!

  • only with specials.

  • those dhalsim elephant noises are annoying O.o

  • from 3:01 to 3:34 ryu got rocked in the same spot by the same combo lol crazy

  • wat konsole was this game played on?

  • arcade i think, mame probably

  • I think its a MAME emulator...it says "INSERT COIN" in the top right...the console games dont say that

  • i care that its fake and its stupid to say its real NOOB SF PLAYER

  • I think also ,it's too 2 win perfect,the CPS doesn's resists!

  • of course is not the hardest mode

  • This is still the greatest game ever.

  • YOU WIN!!!.....PERFECT!!!!

  • is there way you can get this game

  • Frankly I Don't Care If It's Fake Or Not.

    It's Still A Great Video.

    Great Job :)

  • Classico... Sem palavras!

  • I was fooled until you got to Ryu... he never starts with that move.

  • good point

    jeffbrister2004

  • Ryu always flips back and starts firing hadokens.

  • right... he doesn't try that flying kick move til his life is about 75% gone.
