0:58 PROOF that this is on easiest. Have you ever seen a dizzied character recover with that motion on hardest? They shake crazy fast, takes less than a second to recover. She barely moves.
Mabey mortal kombat is a rip of. But what they did was take street fighter aand made it better. How can you say mortal kombat doesn't flow well it flows perfectly. Plus the characters are so much cooler in mortal kombat and the fatalities. Those are fucking awsome.
Because these are all opinions, including yours. For the most part, SF has a more "legit" or even "hardcore" reputation. To this day, people play SFII in tournaments, never mind the HD remake. That's how well balanced and enduring it is. Not only did it put fighting games on the map, but it's become a part of pop culture. Down, Right, Fierce. "...he was throwing hadokens at me." -Nick Diaz, MMA fighter, etc.
MK has its merits, but it will always play second fiddle to SF.
Mortal Kombat (all versions) is terrible compared to streetfighter.
It just doesnt have the CORE mechanics that make a decent fighting game.
Theres's no depth or fluidity in MK.
Even the new Mortal Kombat - is still running basically the same fighting engine as MK1.
The fatalities and gore are fun but it will never be a serious vs fighting game like Tekken or SF because it can't match the collision depth/balance of moves as these games.
@TheHibert yeah because street fighter is better dumbass, its way more fluid and better look at mk 9 they took the bar from street fighter fuckhead, x ray move, a fancier and more brutal ultra or super, ex moves, street fighter came out first and mk took the stick movement from street fighter, mk is a more brutal version of sf that doesnt play as good
@TheHibert If you were around in 1992 playing arcades then you would realise why street fighter was revolutionary. Why do you think the SNES was bundled with it? It was the most anticipated SNES game of all time. Some spent hundreds on getting a japanese copy when it came out.

@Playster3 i don't know why ppl think it's Ryu > Ken when it's clearly not, why do u think Ryu has that headband? Because Ken kicked the shit outta him down some stairs and bussed Ryu head to the white meat lmao, also true SF fans kno that Ryu didn't even win the Street Fighter Tournament Ken did. Ken dragon punch > Ryu's, Ken rich, Ryu poor (who da fuck would wanna be Ryu now?). Ken is greet by his woman at the end, Ryu mite be gay when u think bout it cause he never has a chick. Ken > Ryu
Ken is the best!!! I don´t see why most people think of Ryu as a Street Fighter icon nr.1, in my opinion Ken has always owned Ryu in every possible way! Ken is the most complete and coolest character of them all in Street Fighter series, end of story! Ken=Street Fighter
Most of the comments here and on this guy's other videos are beneath stupidity. If you aren't familiar with the ORIGINAL ARCADE VERSION of Street Fighter II: The World Warrior (which this guy is playing), then don't comment. This game isn't Marvel vs. Capcom, or Street Fighter III or IV (or the SNES version!). The hits did massive damage (this was before "combo based" gameplay became popular) and the AI would keep to certain patterns, even on hard difficulty.
@LeavesinTibet This game invented Combo Based Gameplay. There are tons of Combo's possible in this original. Although sure the hits are a bit overpowered. They changed that in Champion Edition.
I have'nt commmented on this video before so not sure what you're talking about, however this is footage of a noob "tap throw" player using A1 patterns and cheapness then throwing it up here. This verison is the easiest of all to complete simular feats even here without the tap throw would be worth while, but this is STANDARD, every kid in the arcade back in the day could complete the game in this manner.
@LeavesinTibet I absolutely agree. Look, for all those ppl who thinks this guy hacks (even if that is the true), the fact is that I have seen a guy doing this in an arcade. Seriously, some ppl are just that good. I have also seen a guy in Japan go through the entire game with one hand - Live.
Basically, anyone can put the difficulty on 1 and kick ass all the way through. Using an emulator with the save states and a little bit of video editing makes this "look" perfect.
@kltiswhoib It would be incorrect to look at this video as a display of skill. Then again, the title is misleading and the description is insufficient.
I will admit you're a very skilled player no question about that, but I have to agree with some of the other comments this is not hardest difficulty, the CPU barely attacks, they never block and I can instantly tell you have the dmg level set to maximum, I play Street Fighter 2 on CPU difficulty level 8 and I myself can do Arcade mode without losing a single match or continuing but the CPU is no way near as lame as it is on your videos.
Easiest difficulty or not though still awesome videos
How is he a very skilled player? Ken's moves are very simple and easy to master with little practice, I don't see anything in this video thats spectacular.
@ShinobiXRevived i'm sure the fact that he managed to get a perfect on EVERY stage regardless of what difficulty it is set on is proof enough, I can only get 1 or 2 perfects on CPU level 8
@InfernalMatter I dont think he is playing in easy mode thought. If you see in the corner of the screen at the beggining it says credits and we all know what that means. He is playing in a REAL ARCADE! NOT ARCADE MODE IN HIS SNES.
Im pretty sure you cant change the difficulty level in a Arcade machine. You know what I mean. If im wrong PLEASE correct me. I played in a arcade before but im not really sure if you could change the difficulty level OR that could mean the computer just sucks! :)
@luigidude15 Yeah you can, in the real machines there were switches that controlled various settings for the game including difficulty. If he is using MAME which I most certainly assume he is they emulated those switches.
@InfernalMatter You're pretty gullible, I'd say. This looks pretty obviously like it has been done using an emulator, probably with slowdown and save states. Not being a skeptic here, I just know what I'm talking about. In particular, using progressive Shoryuken to avoid Guile's two Sonic Boom attacks. It's pretty obvious in many ways. I shouldn't even have to post this.
So... I have gone to this address and see a tool-assisted video for "SNES Super Street Fighter 2 (USAv1.0) "Ken Version" by someone named W.S. Saturn. Where do I begin?
Your link is for SUPER Street Fighter II video. A1Major's video is Street Fighter II: World Warrior.
Your link shows the Super Nintendo version of the game since. A1Major's is the Arcade version as you can see by the ."Insert Coin" message at the top right corner of the screen.
This can't be the hardest difficulty, when you jump on them they do not block that´s strange. I wish id have a good camera to record my MAME fights, you would like them!
i think i would love to see you put the level up on the start of the game b/c while playing this on level 8 it was impossible to get some hits off and they blocked alot.
I did not believe you at first... But you are good! You gave no chance to Ryu... I want to see how you do with Vega... Thanks for the posting! You've got skills! Cheers!
Special moves like hadoken, shoryuken, sonic boom, etc.. gives chip damage while jump hits and standing hits like jabs, mediums, fierce, etc... doesn't give chip damage.

wtf! you got hit by a flipping neck breaker by Chun Li in the first match blocked and no damage was taken, thats a special move for her. nice try, but thats cheating.
