I don't know why people don't like Heroes IV... I played it, I liked it. I've played
Heroes I, III, IV and V.
I like one and three for the nostalgia value and because they are legends among games. Fourth one is good but nothing can reach Heroes III. Heroes 5 is just horrible. The serie failed after the fifth one.
@LordVili When you get the chance, I'd recommend playing number II. It isn't as good as number III (hell, most games nowadays aren't) but number two was what truly opened up for III :) In 1995, Heroes II was probably the best PC game ever made. Yeah, I thought V was alright, what didn't you like about it?
IV brought some changes but didn't change the whole game, you know what I mean? I mean you could easily learn the new things when IV is compared to III. But I just didn't like V because I personally thought that it changed the formula too much. Or then I'm just a nostalgia geek who can't get along with new things :D

@Therealdobby I'm not Dragonstar, but definitely check out the Morrowind and Oblivion soundtracks. All the Morrowind tracks are amazing, and Wings of Kynareth, King and Country, Peace of Akatosh, Watchman's Ease, and Auriel's Ascension are great songs on the Oblivion soundtrack.

The 'Grass' theme, if recall correctly. I preferred Heroes 3 (still do, still play it), but this was one of the better pieces of music in #4.
