for this kind of kicks,its all about distortion and tweaking the right knobs,hard punch and 2 or 3 layerd bass,one for the distorted part ,one reverse vor sounding good, and a nice subbase,for tipps,iam ready for it,look my channel and watch bazefaze 2011 there is a standard kick and this kind of kick(name it nustyle,for me its all one hardstyle and not splitting styles);)

Ah i watched this week plenty of guides. Download several synths, and just change a bit. It is smart to watch some guides :). Use vst's on the fruity mixer and just practice . A good synth for a bass is camelphat.

You don't need a tutorial to create a good kick. What you really need to do is to listen to a lot of hardstyle tracks and hear how the composer created their kicks. That's how I do. It may not be perfect, but at least it preserves my originality.

@deckarx unfortunatly I'm not crazy when I posted this comment. A good tutorial is needed, but a good pair of ears is also needed. To hear a track, and then trying to recreate the sound without a tutorial that shows how to do it is even more rewarding than using the tutorial. I hardly look at tutorials when it comes down to music production.

Listen up guys, the tutorial to a kick is, inspiration of something..

F.eks see some bruce lee movies and you can hear they use snares, hats and kicks when they come in fights but i will suggest not to use samples, make your own sounds hmm, if you use fl studio u can use a 3x osc it is good for makeing basic leads/kicks put a reverb on the lead and compress and filter it, and then you have it and a other exampel is to use 3 leads in 1 so you fill out the sound, 1 lead that follows the bass :b

No1 wants to reveal their kicks lol. Only thing that makes them more professional than other producers. I make better melodies than most of the hs producers, except for the major ones of course lol. Its the kicks that drive me insane! Especially the reverse bass ones for good intros lol
