  • Where is the button "I love it"?

  • Many musicians have talent, but few have inspiration. Lang is one of those few.

  • He has played with MANY famous people in blues and soul music, if you don't like that music you probably haven't heard of him! He's been playing for over 15 years!!

  • I really like this live version better than the album version :D

  • i had a Live music club in Berlin Germany,"Unplugged" and people this is what it is about this thing that makes us cry, smile, love and remember what life has to offer in all its up's and down's.... "Hohnest Music" keep it up man....God blessed you and Us for giving us the time to see such a talent. like yourself

  • he is amazing

  • Love Jonny. This was such a great record. I think everyone just supposed Jon was going to supplant Clapton as a guitar megastar, but Jonny wanted to be knows more for his songwriting than his guitar vitruosity. He just hasn't caught the hit express like Mayer or some of the other great blues players.

  • Sick solo at the 2min mark.

  • I have seen Jonny in concert at least 6 times and it is still the most thrilling concerts I've seen.

  • OMG THIS GUY IS FUCKIN INSANE !!!!!!JONNY LANG SOLD HIS SOLE TO THE DEVIL~~~no one can be that tallented``sick C ant wait to ess him live!!!

  • @1313blues At least all the devil got was the bottom of his shoe,,, I'd be worried if he sold his soul to him. 8-)

    (easy now,, just kiddin')

  • in credible

  • A big part of it is the five year break he took right at his peak to get hisself cleaned up and give himself to God. He was double platinum at that time. You should look into his transformation. It is amazing.

  • hey we have to get together......

  • amazing!!! great singer and guitar player... it's the voice of an old man singing over a young throat.

  • I would rather be Johhnie Lang and unnoticed than popular and somebody else !!!!!!!!

  • Beautifu

    Itzik Basmanl

  • @vergeharget soulful

  • love this song

  • I love this guy...he has so much feelings and soul in his songs!

  • This song reminds me of something Ben Harper would do.

  • Wow this guy is incredible. Heard him on Howard Stern a couple of days ago. I was blown away. He's def made a fan out of me.

  • I also heard him on Howard Stern and was blown away. I remember him from years ago, but now... I am a TRUE fan. He is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! Love him!

  • Been listening to Jonny since '98, some of my friend's from MN turn me on to his music, and then I went & caught his performance @The House Of Blues @ Mandalay Bay in Vegas in 2000! What passion this young man truly has, it's inspirational to say the least, especially in this day & age. He was on Regis today, good to see he's still out there too!!

  • The thing I love about this performance is that he's changed the lyrics since he's become religious (and I say this even though I am not at all religious). "I thought maybe God had lost track of my soul. But I know he wouldn't leave me out here like this" is a subtle change of lyrics, but the meaning is drastically different from the original (this & "Leaving to Stay" or 2 of my faves).

  • @missliz0407 ya good listen, didn't catch that,he kinda smiled too

  • quality music is on the internet not on the radio

  • thats awesome

  • EXTRAORDINARY! A VOICE AND A HUGE SENSE! Jonny LANG BRAVO! Viorel Burlacu

  • Very talented guy, too bad he didn't write this song, but he makes it his own with his passionate singing.

  • @troublesome07 Who wrote it? I can't imagine he'd make it the album title track if it's not original? Please enlighten me.

  • @brnmbrns Bruce McCabe, Jonny's long time piano player wrote it. He also wrote Lie To Me the title track of Jonny's first album. Jonny didn't really write until Long Time Coming. Just a couple of tracks on LTM and WTW are originals

  • Not bad for a kid from ND.

  • i thought hes from Minnesota

  • I can't express in words how much I want to see this guy in concert, he sounds amazing! Great guitar, great writing, and an amazing voice!

  • @Salamis56700 Great in concert. If you ever get the chance to go, do it.

  • @Kluender07 saw him in Linz/AUSTRIA when he was very young and his carreer was still at the very beginning. Besides his mature voice he also had incredible stage presence. Unforgettable excellence!!!

  • I saw him 12 years ago on David Letterman

and have love him ever since.

  • This guy is fabulous!!

  • he is so awesome XD

  • amazing

  • he didnt just sing it.He became it !!

  • Way too white to have that much soul. Saw him a couple years ago, and the soul permeated everyone to the bone. Truly one of the best rock-n blues artists

  • Amazing.

  • How does this McCauley Culkin lookin' like dude have such an amazing earthy soulful voice. I couldn't believe the first time I heard this guy sing years ago.

  • Someone else that you don't hear a lot of from the industry who has been around is Ian Moore. Check his stuff out if you haven't already.

  • Mainstream radio SUCKS thats why we dont hear this great artist !! I was introduced to his music 14 years ago and loved him ever since! Jonny ROCKS!!

  • I've been listening to Jonny Lang since I was about 9...I'm 17 now. I still can't believe how he's not more popular, his music is like sex for the ears.

  • totally agreed! His concert was the first concert I have ever been too and i fell in love with jonny . He should be more popular. He is so talented and his music is awesome.

  • @lala12349 I so agree with you he puts all out there and you can see it move through him like no other!!!!!!

  • LOVELY LOVELY LOVELY

  • superb!!!

  • Being "top 40 popular" is not necessarily a good thing. There's a whole lotta crap in the top 40. Remember Sisqo? Pussycat Dolls? Hammertime? Usher? Kid Rock? Limp Bizkit? Top 40 is a joke. Do you ever hear any great artists on Top 40 anymore? If so, name them.

  • Shinedown

  • Sweet Jesus. I love his emotion when he sings... Some people would probably laugh at his expressions... I think it's awesome!

  • saw him first @the crossroads dvd.. he is amazing!!

  • SWEET JESUS!, I fell in Love with this song many years ago when he sang on a late night talk show, I wondered what ever became of him. This song was torn from My Diary. I cry very hard every time I hear this song! God Bless Jonny Lang!

  • why isnt he so much more popular its rediculous. most of the billboard top 40 artists dont have half the talent of this guy

  • @matndale I agree....

it's just all about those MTV shit.....

but maybe it's better this way....

  • @matndale He's not a sellout like other big so called blues artists

  • great voice nice solo aswell. im a big fan of lang.
