Also, reading your interests, I hope if you ever become a doctor that you won't be afraid to step outside of text book diagnosis and won't be quick to dismiss someone who doesn't have the most obvious causes for symptoms as an anxiety or psychological issue. Hi Sara: If you're still posting here, it is not so much what I want to see but WHAT YOU HAVE TO SAY about your disability. I seriously doubt if you consider yourself "disabled" but I do want to hear about some of your experiences with what I would call a visible deformity. There is a young lady near me about your age that works as a clerk and she has a similar deformity. She does everything to hide it and is self conscious. How or why would you hide something as obvious as that? Thank you

@Sarimperil - FYI: Part of my job is to train airport customer service employees how to serve airline passengers with disabilities better. Our 2 primary service rules are: "See the person, NOT the disability" and "Ask 1st if you can help." So, you see, it is never our aim to focus or talk about a passenger's disability unless they mention it first. So what would you correctly have us say when mentioning your disability? @jimmerly I think I have quite a few "unique" characteristics, as any human being does. I have not dated a devotee, however, which I think is what you're trying to get at. "Natural" is a subjective term and debatable, so I will refrain from using that or digressing unless given another, more specific, question.
