@DemonicDragons it's not the nostalgia for me, it's the intrigue of an incredibly interesting piece of hardware that will never happen again; nothing like it came before or after it, and i find it and its library (not to mention the current homebrew stuff, wow!) really interesting. for me it was very worth it. :]

@Slixors i keep money set aside saved for me to specifically buy stuff i want to buy; i'm not letting pressing CDs (which i do not even like doing when it comes to shipping) get in the way of me picking up things that interest me. i learn a lot from gaming history, being a game designer on the side and all.

@Slixors as an aside; if you ever want to actually buy CDs from me, show up at anthrocon or something. i have TONS of stuff pressed specifically for cons because i HATE dealing with shipping tons of discs out - last year i spent several hundred dollars on disc presses, and in 2012 i'll probably spend a couple thousand; so don't assume, please.

@smb40 you can find them on ebay for around 200-300 usually, but the shipping (even if you're in the US where most of them are located) will make it a little less than worthwhile. your best bet is honestly just keeping a sharp eye out, and if there are any nearby, stop by flea markets and yard sales religiously.
