For real life. Most likely. Might drive hard like this in qualifying though. One of the elements of sims I guess is the race paces are usually too fast. As sim-racers can get away with a lot more.
True to an extent. Depends on the car. I watch a video about Michael one time when he was driving for Benetton, And they showed Corner Data, Steering as well as Throttle inputs. Johnny Herbert was super smooth through 130R at Suzuka, and Michael was making all sorts of very fine corrects. Which on the limit is very much needed. As no human is perfect enough to do it without them. Although nowadays the cars are looking easier and easier to drive in this respect.
Hey Shaun great lap as always. Cant wait till this game becomes public and maybe ill get the chance to finish behind you once again like old times Shaun lol
hehe. :) Hey Mitch! unfortually doubtful ill be subcribing anytime soon anyway. It is a great sim, but too deep for my pockets, but who knows maybe by the time its public things will change. :P
Well, theres not alot you can change on this car LOL. but I was using 0 Perch, and 2 ARB 22 front pressures and 24 rears. On this track anyway. :) Its always a bit tricky under braking from speed to a low speed corner. Very easy to turn in to hard and get it sideways. Need to release the brake mostly off before turn in as if you lift with the wheel turned it upsets the car alot. Small amount of brake is ok for helping it turn, but too much to releasing to 0 can be bad.
You mean including Shenandoah?... I know what you're saying is pretty clear, but I havent heard any mension of the Shenandoah ciruit... it would be really awesome if that circuit was in, as I've been there on my bike... I'll eventually hit up the other two circuits, but for now it'd be cool to sim drive a track I did in real life.
Ah okay, that's what I thought. There's three seperate tracks at Summit, not counting all the extra layouts you can create with the tracks. There's the main one, Jefferson, and Shenandoah... Shenandoah is relativly new, so it's not too suprizing that it's not in the game. Thanks for the info.

Have you tried nkpro? I'm curious how the 2 compare. The handling here seems a bit odd, but nkpro has one weird flaw too.

I know it's important to be loose on a race track but aren't you sliding the car too much?

Also I totaly wrecked Turn 2. Lost way too much speed. That was too side ways, but it's fun. :D

Thanks. I was just wondering why because I read in Speed Secrets that sliding the car and even erratic inputs in the steering will scrub off speed.

Nice lap. Wow you slide soo much more than I thought you could. I can't keep that much speed under braking without that rear coming around.
Is your setup pretty far from the baseline?
