Show me in the Constitution that the Citizens are required to "give" to any one that has some economic or natural disaster issues. If that is true then the money is better well spent right here in the good old US of A. People here are losing their homes; employment; and various other things....so what Bush and Obama did was to give the banks shit loads of cash; and the American people got a wonderful bullshit story, again. I feel remorse for the people of Haiti. But what about our own people that are now out of a job and homeless in a situation where they'll most likely become ill and have no way to cure their ailments? Mr. Bush says "Just send cash." To me, if I were someone who's home was destroyed, I would much rather a blanket and some food instead of money. With cash I would also have to find a way to get to a place that wasn't destroyed to spend it on the things my family and I need to survive.

The United States is not the only Country who should help Haiti, it is incorrect to say that the U.S. must do more than any other country, all countries are responsible for helping Haiti. Also let us make sure that all of the money raised to help the Haitian people, really get to those who need it, remember for years we poured money into Haiti, and these monies never reached the everyday people, it only lined the pockets of the corrupt government in Haiti.
