My uncle died 5 years ago we were close... He made his mistakes but I knew he loved me and I know he is still watching over me.. He is the reason I want to become a doctor... My oldest brother passed away on May 21, 1998. I was only 8 yrs old. We played this song at his funeral. To this day, I still cry and think about him every time that I hear this song. He was best influence on the way that I live my life. His fiancee was pregnant at the time. His little boy was born on his birthday just 22 yrs later. I also just lost my grandma a couple months ago. It's hard since I could make it to her funeral because of the weather.

im 13 years old my god brother is 15 and in a wheelchair because when he was born the doctor used the vacume extractor for 57 mins it caused brain damage when he was a baby he got cancer he beat it he is like my own brother now he is sick and probably wont make it all because of that doctor he has to live a life in the hospital without talking or walking now he is sick and his lungs r filling up and he may not make it this week he is a merical and my brother i will miss him
My mother passed away on March 13, 2006. I was only 12 years old. Im seventeen now and I still cry and think about her everyday. When I was little, my mother lost her mom, and I lost my nana. I was only 6. I remember she had a CD of this song and whenever she used to hear it, she used to hold me and cry, singing along. I was 20 yrs old at the time when I got the news that my oldest sister had been murdered shot down with a bullet thru the back of the head, left behind 3 little kids. I was resting with my daughter when she was 3 yrs old, this song came on and she said, "bye Nanny" ( that is what everyone called my grandmother). I asked her why she said bye to her and she just put her arms around me and went to sleep. My grandmother died the next day. This song always makes me cry. Great job on the video.

My oldest brother passed away on May 21, 1998. I was only 8 yrs old. We played this song at his funeral. To this day, I still cry and think about him every time that I hear this song. He was best influence on the way that I live my life. His fiancee was pregnant at the time. His little boy was born on his birthday just 22 yrs later. I also just lost my grandma a couple months ago. It's hard since I could make it to her funeral because of the weather.

I lost my mom when I was 13. I got married a couple years ago at age 23 I used this song as my remembrance song in the wedding, I don't think there was a dry eye in the church at the end of the song. I love this song....it is so true!

my pap died 4 years ago and everytime i hear this it makes me think of him. i remember the last words the he said. i said pap :i love u and i gotta go home and eat." he said "i love u to matt and ok come back up tomorow and we will go fishing". i said ok. the next morning i woke up to my mom and sister running through the hall. i went to my other sisters and at 9:30 am my mom called and said "dad just died" and i never got to say good bye or i love u one last time. im only 14 now

Her children live with there grandparents, I miss her everyday. we had been best friends 10 to 15 years. im 13 years old my god brother is 15 and in a wheelchair because when he was born the doctor used the vacume extractor for 57 mins it caused brain damage when he was a baby he got cancer he beat it he is like my own brother now he is sick and probably wont make it all because of that doctor he has to live a life in the hospital without talking or walking now he is sick and his lungs r filling up and he may not make it this week he is a merical and my brother i will miss him

My mother passed away on March 13, 2006. I was only 12 years old. Im seventeen now and I still cry and think about her everyday. When I was little, my mother lost her mom, and I lost my nana. I was only 6. I remember she had a CD of this song and whenever she used to hear it, she used to hold me and cry, singing along. @Toepics1 I lost my mom when i was 13years old, and this song still has a lot of meaning in my life too. It is so hard to grow up without a mom, so I feel some of your pain. My mom was an amazing woman, and I will never know how she feels about the woman I'm becoming, the choices I've made, and it hurts so much to think of all the things she is missing out on with me. I try to keep her with me in my heart, but everyday is a struggle, and I miss her more than anything in the whole world !!

I was 20 yrs old at the time when I got the news that my oldest sister had been murdered shot down with a bullet thru the back of the head, left behind 3 little kids. Took along time for me for life to get a little easier. Then this song comes out and the first time I heard I broke out in tears and for a long time after. @dreamasyouwish - I feel your pain, My grandfather just passed on October 8th 2010... Then a friend of mine passed away on October 18th, and my Uncle had a heart attack on Halloween, it's been a pretty rough month for us. That was my last grandparent. My uncle survived, but he's in pretty bad shape, he has to have a defibulator put in. So Love the ones in your life while they are here, give them flowers when their alive, not when they die.
