  • This hideous utterly strident lunatic dispenses persnickety psychobabble bizarrely meshed with feel-good junkism, thinly veiled by a tacky brand of artifice & materialism, for the unwitting masses, predicated upon null apprehension of prevailing geo-political drivers that perpetuate her senseless prognostications & pseudo-gospel-of-wealth-for-the-ages, wrapped in a fallacious NWO abetted New Age 'ism prattle, for a controlling cleptocracy...that highly encourages....bush munch mania; no kidding

  • This ignorant woman will give you bad advice. She is a tool for the welfare/warfare state. She loves the FED and printing your dollar to oblivion....Orman will NEVER discuss the destruction of the dollar by the FED.

  • @UtubeAdminSucksAss: You said it aptly! Wow....did not know about this raving lunatic; say, feel free to chuckle were you to read my "Summary Polemic Retort" to her strident, ill-informed, supercilious psychobabble. LOL, a whacked out bush munching spread-eagle wanker would be my guess...culled from an incisive first impression: NEXT. Where do they find this ceaseless barrage of biker-d_kes: good grief.

  • Shes my new favorite woman. Shes so fabulous.

  • "Your own financial tsunami"

  • she should be generous and go back in the kitchen

  • I am just like her.

  • Is this for real?

  • crap

  • "Sell all your possessions, give it to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven." Live on God's providence. If God exists, and he does, he'll show you what is meaningful and of value IF you EMPTY YOURSELF. I find giving in order to receive, extremely selfish. You do receive when you give, but that should not be the primary motive.

  • @fifalacious ...... Is that your excuse on why you're broke

  • The issue is not what money is backed by but who controls its quantity. In history GOLD was used as the ONLY money standard in order to crash the economy into a depression. It is SILVER which is the key. When gold AND silver was in circulation the money was plentiful and the economy thrived . Then when they removed the silver standard you could only buy & sell in gold. This KILLED the economy. GOLD is scarce . Remember its who controls its QUANTITY that counts see "secret of oz"

  • thank you

  • This is very important to all those who want to make it rich!

  • I don't know about Suze Orman but I am gonna say yes she can afford to and should go get a face lift. If Joan Rivers who's in her mid 70's can, why not Lydia?

  • hello Ms suze. My name is Lydia. I would like to ask you a question. I want to spend 4000.00 for face lift. I hava 70.000 dollars invested and 10.000 savings. I take 2000 dolars after taxes. Iam 55 years old. single mom one 15y /old boy. Please let me now if I can afored the face lift.

  • @lydloc10467 Approved!

  • @lydloc10467 Denied You do not have an 8 month emergency fund is what she probably would say. On a side note remember this, Beauty fades, stupid is forever

  • @lydloc10467 DENIED. you didn't say anything about retirement or a 529 for your son who's facing college soon. If you put that 4000 in a roth you'd be doing yourself a favor. Try botox it's cheaper

  • suze orman is the phoniest bitch i have ever seen and if she is so annoying and FAKE.!

  • I really like her answer. It was respectful to the woman asking it, who obviously wanted to contribute financially to society. Give what you can, but not more than you can afford to.

  • @USAtaxRules I would say 2% of your net or gross income, whichever you prefer to go by.

  • A jew telling what they call stupid goyim to give while they steal and scam ,lmao

  • BIRDDOG ALERT: I'm offering 1% finders fee on my 63 unit apartment for sale in Thunderbay Ontario. That's $22,500.00 in your pocket if you bring the buyer to the table. This is no joke. It will be a win win situation if I can sell my building so please try and find me a buyer and I'll gladly pay you 1% of the purchase price which amounts to 22.5k. Please email this to all your friends who might need money. Details at: mshinvestments(.)com

  • I love the feeling that I was an instrument to bring joy to someone else, which in turn makes me feel great.

    :D

Like she said, it doesn't always have to be much, but doing that regularly is a blessed thing.

  • She's so smart..

  • Awesome clip, give what ever you can give & give it as often as possible.

  • WOW, I was blown away.

  • Man are you an ignorant idiot. I feel sorry for you :`(

  • I like her lectures! And as a straight guy I think her hairstyle is pretty cool. (please don't kill me <<;; )

  • @RocketRodder Haha I'm a straight guy and I think she has pretty awesome hair too. That's the point of it isn't it though?

  • what a schmuck.

  • It's pretty obvious that the negative and ignorant people couldn't write a complete sentence without cursing. It seems like their anger is a bit misplaced. Maybe they should get some counseling and find out where root of the problem really is. Don't hate people for their success you only taking up energy when you could really use it on more positive things like maybe getting a better education.

  • ambiguity

    slippery slope

but giving once a month makes sense...

i gave to a homeless person XD

  • Beautifully stated!! No matter how much a person may dislike her, as I've been seeing in some of the posted comments, what she speaks is greatly insightful and is true. No amount of hate, envy, or just plain ignorance can discredit her and the things she's said in this post... rock on Ms. Orman!

  • if youre only looking to get noticed....just dont give period. But a truely generous person, gives just to give...when you do that you emit a natural glow......this glow is noticed by others as having that "X" factor

  • your the dumb one. you don't see she is trying to help. She could drop off the face of the earth and have more than enough to live off of but she continues to do seminars and help people who are shooting themselves in the foot with their money.

  • This bitch got rich buy selling her ideas and her book to all the idiots who cant figure out the obvious!

  • People don't like her style, but if you had your emergency fund set up & paid down your debts, you're in a better position not than some millionaires who invested 100% with madoff

  • i always used to get her confused with a canadian reporter....

  • Suze Orman for president

  • I would vote for Orman in 2012 if she were to run for the Presidency! Imagine how well our economy would be doing with her in the Oval Office...

  • I agree 100%!

  • Yes, and I think should would repeal DOMA and don't ask right away, and not do nothing about it.

I wonder if her wife would like to be first lady?

  • wow that was like a oscar performance/

  • Suze Orman is SO Right ON with this teaching. I started the practice of giving.. from a grateful Heart and my financial life took off. Giving Responsible and from the Heart is one of the biggest lessons a human being can learn. God Bless you Suzie

  • everyone loves her

  • THE GREEDY CEOS AND EXCESSIVELY WEALTHY MUST BE THE ONES TO REPLENISH THE ECONOMY AND PUT THAT MONEY BACK WITH THE AMERICAN MAJORITY OF WORKING CLASS THEY STOLE IT AND THEY MUST GIVE IT BACK THE RICH CANNOT LIVE HIGH ON HOG WITH THE BLOOD, SWEAT, SKILLS AND TALENTS, INTEGRITY AND TRUST OF THE MAJORITY AND AT THE MAJORITIES EXPENSE.

By receiving much you impoverish yourself. By selfish accumulation you become bankrupt. As Emerson says, You run in your own debt.

  • i find your post to be ignorant.

Bill Gates is excessively wealthy, he did not steal any money, it is not his responsibility to fix the economy.

in your post you make it seem like the middle class works and perseveres harder than the upper class.

    you are very wrong.

you know who works on christmas? not the middle class.

most upper class jobs require tons of work and school, which cause debts which they have to pay off, ceos work for their job, and take great risks of going bankrupt.

    ignorance.

  • Suze Orman the epitomy of arrogance and full blown lesbianism!!! I can't stand to listen to her, all she does is give financial advice that any dummy can figure out!!!

  • anyone who wants to practice what she's saying...

I'll let you know my account number and you can make your bank transfer each month...

  • Suzie talk to the corrupt CEOs and the corrupt government how to not only give back to the majority of Americans but teach them how to put people first and money second, and things third. Talk about values to the monolopoly corporations. The government should not bail out these companies. These people need to be accountable for their actions. talk to them.

  • This woman bites and her words don't match. Lots of people want stuff they ask her about on her obnoxious show, and she denies them but who says they aren't their own favorite charity??

  • the amount does matter

    charity == sacrifice

  • you missed the point she was just saying whatever you can afford, no matter how great or small, is significant.

  • a millionaire can afford $10. but that is not a sacrifice for charity.

    amount MATTERS

  • Once again you miss the point she was saying that a poor person donating $10 is the same as a rich person donating $10 million dollars... She wasn't saying that a rich person should donate the same as a less wealthy person.

  • you also missed his point, you both have good points.

you are saying that 10 from a poor = 10,000 to the rich. this is true for the live of the giver.

but to the life of the receiver from the charity, $10 will not be needed nearly as much as the $10,000.

  • How are you supposed to give money when you have no money to give?

  • I don't give to charity. The government mandates that I give it to them. Well, in reality the plunder my paycheck but let's not dwell on details. "I WANT MY MOMMY FOR 2008! Go Barack!" Syke

    Support the FairTAX

  • I don't buy her book or any other of her products because she says that I have to save my money LOL

  • me too

  • Give only 1% of net income to charities.. Got it?

    also google Charity scams..

  • basically most of them are scams. few percent of the money u give to charities make to the intended place, other rest is spent on lavish diners and unnecessary trips

  • Boring question, dumbass answer. By giving to charity people will recognize your strength and giver you a raise? WTF world is she living in?

  • Yes, she's saying that by giving to charity and teaching yourself to not be a stingy bastard, your persona/soul/what-have-you will become stronger, you'll become more "powerful" (confident, mature, daring, influential) and others, perhaps superiors who are empowered to give you a raise or a promotion, will be impressed by it. If you just desperately hold on to what you already have, you'll come across as a person who isn't interested in growth.

  • If you were to watch the whole PBS special(netflix it), then you would hear all the credit card info. This is a genuine answer to an important question. It is important to give, no matter how much.

  • What do you mean?

  • It is not a "fabolous" question, it is stupid question...how are you gonna ask someone how much can you contribute to a disaster such as Tsunami? I mean that is not considered your "spendings", and yes it doesn't matter how much you give...

  • Check out The B Word budget method found at thebword(dot)com. The B Word system addresses the management of cashflow. It's the part of money management that you never hear finance professionals discussing. It's a mystery to me.

  • The Government takes about 40% of what I earn and gives a good share of it to the poor, welfare, aid to foreign governments, my local schools, tax breaks for all kinds of folks...I think that should be enough of FORCED GIVING.

  • +1

    Completely agree with you.

  • Listen I am not going to discuss with you but listen to what I have to say if you value the principles of tolerance and respect that this country was build on:

I dont like the war on Irak, I dont like bush, and while I am a strong advocate for women and being the champion against adversity if you know what it means, there is no problem if someone asks for help, it is worse to leave a person do things without knowing something, the reason why the world ruins is because no one helps themselves.

  • I have grown to love Suze Orman. She really cares about people and what their financial futures are. Very helpful too.

  • Yes she does, we are reading her book, women adn money which is great!! have you read it, I havent read young fabolous and borke but maybe I should since I plan to go to disney college next year and I am a sophmore in college, women and money has been a good deal for me, it has taught me how to do my taxes, better and before getting a credit card now I know about FICO more then ever, so wow she really rocks!! she is more advocate, than many women, she is the honarary woman.

  • Absolutely incredible Suze Orman, what a beautiful soul.

  • Ms. Orman is an amazing inspiration to all ages and both genders. Keep up the great work!

  • she makes me feel bad about myself, so everytime I watch her, I go out and spend $1000 to make myself feel better.

  • only good thing about her is that she likes to lick girls cracks and ya gotta love that.

  • what a dumb cow she is in the bak pocket of corporate america and does not give shyte about you people. Where was she when people were buying 800k houses with no money and < 200 k income a year go for it she said. what a cow those mortgage parasites out there pretending to be your friends oh and your realtor? They told you to buy buy buy, when they should have told you that you cant afford it and that all of the real estate is so over priced that you would have to be completel;y insane to agree

  • did you guys know she's a lesbian?

  • So what! She is very insparational and helpful not like say the negitive Ann Coulter.

  • yeah she is

    no kidding

    she teaches you so much

because that is the amin of today we dont help ourselves and she gives you the bases, like the unfinsihed pyramid, I havent read the young, fabolous and broke but I will soon, I am readin the women and money

  • i guess it is easy to see

  • Suze, until you admitted it last night on Larry King, I never knew you were a lesbian. Gee and you'd make any man such a great RICH wife. Gosh, what a waste not to give any poor guy a break! But Happy New Year anyway.

  • It was announce on Feb 25, 2007 in The New York Times Magazine actually, so it's almost been a year.

  • I don't read the New York Times. Carrying it can give a guy a hernia.

  • Thanks for posting this...I love Suze to death!

  • Join the PAY IT FORWARD MOVEMENT and subscribe to the GenerositySaves channel.

  • well yes, what she says is 'common sense'... but its the common sense that america is lacking! so, good for her!...

  • do onto others before they do onto you

never ever give, take take or be taken

  • Wrong. You need to build a system. If you don't put anything into the system, it can't possibly come back to you. You need to give, it will then process and grow, and then it will come back ten times over (from various sources in various forms). Put it back in the system and it will continue to regenerate. Keep it and that's all you'll ever have. It's simple.

  • omfg people, suze orman is the biggest joke i have ever seen on tv...not one word of her "advice" is anything more than common sense. She makes millions of dollars giving common sense advice while wearing hideous trench coats. She's not a complete idiot though, i mean she does know how to act, well sort of...

  • It is common sense, but have you heard the people who call into her show? "Hi Suze, I have two mortgages on my house, and $60,000 in school loans to repay, but I want to quit my job and raise hamsters. What should I do?" Honestly.

  • haha good point

  • hahaha you're awesome

  • No shit!

  • lesbonic

  • i love Suze Orman. her passion is so prevalent. it's so contagious. Great advice and insight.

  • Me too!!

  • Through many years of hearing people talk about "Stewardship" and honarable giving in the church and faith community setting I have NEVER, let me repeat that NEVER, heard anyone speak with as much honest and conviction and intelligence as this woman. I am going to get her book and share it with all the pastors I know for thier education regarding honoring our faith and as she says our "values" through our giving.

  • shes not dumb and yes shes gay but so what

  • It's called inflation you fucking retard. Blame the Federal Reserve, not gays.

  • stop being bitter- get married, have children, love your family and be a good provider. Move somewhere that's less expensive and get a life.

  • lmfao...its almost funny because it's true...I mean...the truth is so sad that I can't ever cry I laugh instead...and I laugh and cry at the same time...lol *tear*...

  • You forgot about credit cards.

  • Damn, She is Smart, Sexy, and Sensual.

  • i love her.love her advice

  • It's never good to pool all one's eggs' in a single basket. You gotta get your advice from many sources. Suze offers some good advice. And it's always smart to look at other options too. I personally like Suze.

  • she didn't really answer the question...

  • suze is so hot. she's alright looking but because she understands money to a t, this is what makes her hot. where are the mid 20 year old females that are thinking like suze?

  • Everyone is finding out about her back biting people stomp on the way to the top and she will soon fall for being exactly what she is. A quack, a Liar, a backstabber, and a USER. Athiestic Ruskie Commie Fraud Yid Satanic Bitch eating Homo Rat Faced, Grate-on-the-nerves "YOU GO GIRL" ebonic wanna be,

    cunt potato.

  • There is nothing wrong with making one-time donations. Ever. Give when you want, for what you believe in. It dosen't have to become a monthly part of your budget. I have very giving friends who have over-donated to causes, and now they wish they hadn't, so it helps to know your limit.

  • I have known people who went broke giving to charity and ended up becoming burdens to their family and friends. Everyone gives to charity each and every day. It's called taxes which also provide social programs, welfare, medicaid, social security, disability, food banks, jobs, etc. It's ludicrous to tell people who don't have much or who are starting out to give their money away, they should be saving it so they won't become a burden to society down the road. Bad advise if you ask me.

  • You should give to charity regardless of your debt. Most people are in debt, but it doesn't stop us from giving.

Suze Orman gives some very BAD, very BAD, advise about some other finanical related issues, such as retirement and investing. I've found many experts agree with me.

  • It has been reported in Forbes magazine that she has misrepresented her credentials and background. For example, at the time of writing in 1998, she claimed a current Commodity Trading Advisor license which had lapsed, and some of her materials claimed eighteen years' experience working with Wall Street institutions when she in reality had seven.

  • I know people will disagree with me on this...

Ten percent is good to give monthly. But in my personal opinion, anyone in dept needs to pay that off first before give a single penny to anyone until you are out of the red!

  • I heart Suze

  • How does she represent herself? Where are your sources?

  • Suze Orman sucks. She knows nothing, misrepresents her credentials...
