That is actually an old LRV from fleet 50. Only the very high numbers (196 up) are NEW LRVs. They have different/quieter traction motors that don't need blowers to cool them.

Dallas should have painted the trains to match the color of the line ("Blue Line" trains are painted blue) like we do here in Boston.

Yes, they have added things like automated announcements to these trains it looks like, and even a whole new center car, which looks cool.
