Dallas should have painted the trains to match the color of the line ("Blue Line" trains are painted blue) like we do here in Boston.

He noted in video: Poles are in front of door because MI (Mobility impaired) people can't use low floor entrance on SLRV until all platforms have been upgraded. Once the station upgrade is complete, the poles will be removed. The doors are faster because they are electric and not air driven.

That is actually an old LRV from fleet 50. Only the very high numbers (196 up) are NEW LRVs. They have different/quieter traction motors that don't need blowers to cool them.

Yes, they have added things like automated announcements to these trains it looks like, and even a whole new center car, which looks cool.
