For me this song is about a guy who goes insane and starts kidnapping people (Junkies) and experimenting on them to try and make a "Perfect piece of DNA". He then falls in love with someone who has a "masterpiece of DNA". And tries to kidnap her and her DNA. He then gets caught and gets raped in prison (A mash of DNA).

Everyone should have a subjective opinion on the songs they listen to. This is mine.

@chinesbrazuca Don't get me wrong Blood Sugar Sex Magik is pretty funky but their most funky album is by far Freaky Styley. Trust me when you have George Clinton producing the album it is already pure funk. Freaky Styley is the funkiest you will find the Chili Peppers an amazing album like all of their albums.
