Tminus- do you know how difficult it is to play strumming patterns verbatim to the original artist? Its often more benficial for the cover to play the chords and sing over it, you'd be suprised at the results. Open up a llittle bit.

Actually, it was written by Maude Irving in around 1860. A.P. Carter(Maybelle's B.I.L.) rewrote it and arranged it in the populer style that the Carter Family sang it in starting in the 1920's.

To me, if the greatest song ever performed. A kazoo and mouth harp could be playing it and I would listen as long as it played. This version, however, is even more beautiful, and like the others, do not stop singing these wonderful old tunes.
