paul simon for us president!!

And if you couldn't hear the "David Sanborn on the saxophone" at the end.. well it's normal you can't tell a difference between him and Brecker !
lou2cv 3 years ago
It is definitively NOT Brecker here and definitively Sanborn !!!
What talent! Paul Simon studied literature at University....I think this guy's writing is so rich he could have been a great American novelist. He manoevers the listener thru experiences like Joyce in Ulysses.
Such beautiful rich reflections on life.

Um, yes there is some doubt about that, cause that's Michael Brecker.
thequoon 3 years ago
nope... Im one of the biggest brecker fans out there, and this really isnt brecker. This is david sanborn.
Michael brecker played the solo on the album and did some tours with paul simon. But not this gig
oh, and at the and paul simon introduces the saxplayer as David sanborn haha
Besides, Brecker was a tenor player wasn't he? The instrument played in the video is definately an alto, judging both from looks and sound...

Amazing how much Michael Brecker looks and sounds like David Sanborn on this clip; so much so that Paul Simon even introduces him as David Sanborn
