  • DW are the best sounding drums. Maybe not the best looking set but sound wise they have any drum set bet

  • Lets go DW!

  • craviottto, ftw

  • LOL Keller Vs Keller

  • Shine is out of business.

SJC is the biggest custom drum company in the world.

Not hard to see who wins.

  • This is so dumb, you're jsut basing this off of looks.

I'm a former Shine artist I wasn't please at all with the service and quality.

SJC on the other hand, I called for an endorsement and were really persistant with me, and provided excellent service.

  • @ShineDrumsTheWay2Go I'm not basing this off looks, I'm just showing pictures of both companies for people to see. The purpose of this video is to have people who have used either Shine or SJC to comment on why they like them, I'm not telling people to make a decision from a couple pics.

  • SJC SJC SJC SJC SJC!!!!!!!

  • all the custom drum companies sound more or less the same

  • @dustyowl99 That's not necessarily true. The truth is that most people order more or less the same kit. There's never any creativity involved.

  • Honestly, the crowd hearing either of these drums wouldn't know the difference. Much like ALL drums.

  • Here's the deal, for those who don't know. Sound wise, SJC and Shine are identical. They both use shells purchased from Keller. You may have heard an SJC kit that sounded better than a Shine kit, but that's because of how good the player was, how well he tuned it and the heads he used. It's up to the drummer, not the name on the bass drum.

  • @DysnomiaBlue The sound of the drums isn't necessarily identical. The way that the hardware is applied to the drum will effect the tone quality, but for the most part you are correct. I personally would take SJC any day though. Less expensive and more customer friendly.

  • LB , swiss made custom drums !!

  • Truth

  • SJC because they don't go bankrupt

  • That video should be Truth vs Sjc!

  • how 'bout some vintage Rogers drums! i just picked up a kit of Ebay, and it blows any custom drums out of the water!

  • SJC I think is better but i dont have the opportunity hear Shine Drums

  • I've owned both and SJC is miles ahead of shine ...real talk

  • Definitely sjc. I'm a Dark Horse guy though.

  • sjc for suer

  • well now we have to say SJC seeing as shine went bust

  • SJC!

  • SJC afterall shine drums r no more lolz

  • SJC

  • six gun custom drums are the best

  • six gun custom drums are the best

  • SJC wins this battle, it's the custom classic.

It is as good as Truth.

    Both, love 'em!

  • ok yeah get a battlefield and thumbs up for Clark Danger's comment lol

  • i wouldnt get either i would get TRUTH

  • you do know all custom kits are pretty much the same wood, ply and from the same parts manufacturer just painted... that's the "custom" part sound wise there exactly the same.

  • Without looking at the people behind the drums as everyone seems to be judging, I would say shine, by far. for sound.

  • SHINE RIPS YOU OFF! SJC DOES NOT!

  • this video bugs me because in terms of sound, id have to say shine out ranks both truth and sjc, ive played on all, and shine drums are very comfortable and very rich, and also looks have NOTHING to do with this, i have a shine kit thats white hardware and white sparkle, nothing fancy, but it sounds better that my friends amazing looking purple to black fade with white birds made by truth. THIS IS MY OPINION. if someone handed my a new set by any of these companies i would be extremely delighted

but shine are fukin quality drums

  • @TheBIGMAC147 they sound exactly the same. they all use the same keller maple shells. im not saying they dont sound good because i myself have a custom kit made with keller shells and they sound unbelievable!

  • I like Truth ^^

  • TRY SPAUN DRUMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i will say SHINE provides drums for the warped tour event.

like the ernieball stage and the myspace tent. its has a very nice warped custom kit every year!!!

  • u need video w/ it lol

  • It depends on price if you get a cheap shine set then shine is better. if you get a cheap sjc set SJC is better they all use the same woods its all prices and cosmetics

  • shine fer shure!

  • Tama.

  • shine. sjc is overated

  • sjc, but im ordering dark horse custom drums, and The quality is great for the price.

  • Sjc Cstm Drmz Ftw!

  • SJC is just better from experience.

  • Shine

  • SJC, Shine screwed me over!!
