They try to copy him by squeaking into a microphone and want you to pay to hear it. It's like Justin Bieber covering Slipknot.

I'm watching this version now cos I was just watching Linkin Park's cover. There really is no need to compare the two. This sounded really good and I usually don't like songs on first listen. Linkin Park's aim was not to try and better NIN's version but just to pay tribute to a band that inspired them to create music....LP are NIN fans.

I heard the Linkin Park version first and thought it was good. Then I heard the original and was like "Who the fuck is Linkin Park?" I used to be a huge Linkin Park fan, but I've kind of moved on to bigger and better bands... that said I do think Chester has a unique voice, one of the best in rock history (in my opinion). I'm watching this version now cos I was just watching Linkin Park's cover. There really is no need to compare the two. This sounded really good and I usually don't like songs on first listen. Linkin Park's aim was not to try and better NIN's version but just to pay tribute to a band that inspired them to create music....LP are NIN fans.

The song P*5hng Me Awy was created by Mike Shinoda and in my opinion is a masterpiece, LP could have been a great industrial/electronic band.

I heard the Linkin Park version first and thought it was good. Then I heard the original and was like "Who the fuck is Linkin Park?" I used to be a huge Linkin Park fan, but I've kind of moved on to bigger and better bands... that said I do think Chester has a unique voice, one of the best in rock history (in my opinion). Also I really respect Mike Shinoda and think he and Chester have a lot of potential, but they're being held back by their mediocre guitarists and drummer. NIN kicks ass btw.
