I put a KWA 2GX CQB gearbox in my old KWA M4A1, since i'm turning it into a CQB gun, and I did the Coke can chrono method, and it penetrated through the bottom, does that make sense? I thought it was CQB friendly. Will they let me in to CQB? Should i put an m100 in it instead?

I have a modified kwa cqb m4 modified motor and spring running a 11.1v 1600mah lipo battery and about 500fps. One question is the battery and the grip where the trigger goes is suppossed to becom hot after 4 seconds of full auto fire?

The shell is not CNCd. Every CNCd shell (plenty ;))will outperform the KWA shell in lifetime, and the use of ballbearings on all 3 gears, the use of a wider sectorgear part, and the normal switchassembly make it pretty brittle for a lipo ready gun...

It's not just the metal body or the 6.04 mm inner barrel, its the fact that it has the 2gx gearbox with top notch kwa engineered internals ready to back up a lipo. That it why KWA is more expensive. @cezar858 Some people reported you have to just FORCEFULLY jam the magazine into the mag well to get it in without any mods, but most likely, and the safest way, is to just file down the mag. Sand it with sandpaper or something of the sort and it should be a little slimmer to fit inside.

All I was trying to say with my first comment was that my completely stock KWA M4 CQB shoots around 380fps instead of the posted ~355fps. I've seen allot of KWA's shoot at higher velocities than what they're posted at, and that you may get lucky like me and get a pretty powerful one.

@wilsonisha - You should get a battery with the standard M4 CQB, but on the AirsoftGI website the limited edition version does not state that a battery is included. Yes, it's ok to use 0.25 BB's. Many people (especially in the US due to higher FPS limits than other countries) use 0.25g BB's as they provide better accuracy and stability mid-flight over the 0.2g equivalent.

KWA made a huge mistake with their design. I saw the FPS went between 296 and 344. That's because it DOESN'T get it's weaker power from a spring, but rather KWA uses an M120 like in their M4, but with a poor air seal to get the FPS lower. Not cool KWA. I'm still waiting for you to produce an AEG for CQB that is... engineering to outperform.

Do you have the CQB version? They use the same mechbox for the M4 and M4 CQB to cut down production costs. So they purposely create a bad air seal so the FPS wont go over 350 in their CQB. Their M4 has a good air seal so it shoots ~400. If surely was the air seal, otherwise, the FPS on the gun in that video wouldn't be jumping all over the place. Varying by a full 50 FPS sounds like an airleak to me.
