@aatullberg - It'll mount but won't lay flush against your bike. Have a friend that had one on his '08 883 Standard with passenger pegs and it stuck out.

I have passenger pegs that get in the way of installing my la rosa bag which is the same style. Any suggestions?

@dpuflores Other than removing the passenger pegs - not sure. I don't run with them. Ask around HDForums.

What did u use to mount your bag?

@dpuflores The Licks solo bag comes with a leather stap (similar to a belt with buckle) and additional velcro straps. I use zip ties instead of the velcro straps.

I have but I commute year round in Washington State. The stock rear fender kicks up a lot of water on my backside. If I was to do it I'd like to bobber the fender more but don't think it'd be practical to do - rains to much here.

@mmacho73 Do a search on ebay for "7" Fatboy headlight". Should get a hit for a chrome headlight with mount. I powder coated mine.

I have a 2010 iron 883. I really love the old school look you went with. I took off the stock taillights and sidemount licence plate and mounted a steel mount off the axle and then wired up a model a ford taillight/brakelight it has a clear lense in the bottom so it works for a license plate light also. it looks amazing would look great on your bike as well just an idea. Btw it's about time for a new video yours are the best

@Tattoofreakster - Hey thanks man. I just helped a friend do some mods on his '05 883. We added the Lick's side mound plate to the axel. Looks great and something I've been thinking of doing.

I do have the indian head nickels, but don't really notice them.

The seat is the stock seat which was customized by Rich's Custom Seats. Go to my channel and click on my web site link. I've got a blog and did a write up on the seat mod.

Great choice to stick with the factory solo. I have installed a screamin eagle hvy brther & a set of V&H shrt shts in blk to my 09. Replaced the timer and derby with the chrome Willie G. skulls, took the bottom belt guard off, added blk frnt axle covers, chrome oil dip with temp gauge and blck forward controls w/blk diamond pegs. Stil on the fence about 12 or 14 apes.Wht walls after stocks wear. All 8 of your mod vids have been a great inspiration to DIY like me. Thanks, and much respect.

I sent the stock wheels to CA to a company called HDWheels.  They disassembled, powder coated rim/hub/spokes 2 coats - base maroon and top flat candy red, re-assembled, and trued.

Wheels were the most expensive mod.

Man, you just need a thin white wall in the front and that bike would be perfect in my perspective. Still though even without it, your bike and the "one nighster in vegas" bike are the best nightsters i've ever seen on youtube.

Yeah, I've been impressed with the video on the new iPhone, You can upload to YouTube directly from it - which I've read that video uploads to YouTube are up 400% since the new phone came out.
