Im thinking about buying a 2004-2005 GLI or a 2001 jetta wolfsburg edition. which one do you think i should buy. could do more mods to the wolfsburg bc id have more money. but if i got the GLI i could put in an intake, exaushst system, and a stage 2 ECU upgrade. but with the wolfsburg i could do the same thing but upgrade the ECU to a stage 3. what should i get?

get the gli, forget the intake, just get a cone filter and put it on your MAF sensor...there are some cheaper TBE's too...i got one for 500 bucks and it performs and sounds great...and that might leave you enough money for the stage 3...but the 05 gli is just such a nice car....i love mine...go for it

GIAC is the most aggressive one... I like it best. I had APR on that car but I would NOT pick APR again. If you get GIAC or APR or even REVO you will be in good hands.... There may be a lot of people that disagree tho. GIAC is my personal fav.

considering that you're running on the stock k03 turbo, you're shifting way too late. the small k03 runs outta breath at around 5500rpm, hence, shift points should be around the 5800-6200rpm range.
