  • You aren't supposed to put fancy goldfish in with regular goldfish like comets. Fancy goldfish are passive and calm ..some feeder fish like comets may be bullies toward the fancy fish...so no...comets & moors do NOT mix!

  • People who want to get fish do whatever you want and you don't need a bigass tank a small tank is ok for fish all you need for goldfish to survivve is clean water and a good filter and your fish will be healthy hope I helped

  • lol i almost buy one of that white/red ryukin but the petstore told me its not a ryukin so i didnt buy its it was excatly the same one

  • Your fish are really pretty. I started my own fish tank and its turning out pretty good.. but i want some other fish. do u know of any good companions for gold fish?

  • If anybody has questions about fish email me at swaqqboiisam@aol.com

  • hey how long did you have these fish for? I have a 10 gallon tank and i am going to buy some goldfish tomorrow. do they die quickly if they are in a crowded tank?

  • that a good tank nothing wrong with it :)

  • thats a good tank though!! :) x

  • I am a young teenager that wants a fishtank. I do have 17ltr at the minute, but i am saving for a 9 gallon (37.18 ltr) and that is big enough. You have given me a rough idea on the size im buying. Thanks. I will upload a video when i get it in about 3 months!

  • Im a fish export and if you have a heater in that 10 gallon you should do weekly water changes 1 to 2 time a week to keep your goldfish healthy. go into tropical fish next if your want more voriety

  • they're awesome

  • nice ryukin, i wonder why my petshop rarely has them.

  • ya you can put goldfish in 10 gallons. no problem at all. infact at me school theres like 7 or 9 goldfish in a 20 gallon tank and they live great. 10 gallons fine but if your a hobbiest on goldfish...then get watever you want.

  • what kind of goldfish is that one in 0:18 ?? i have the exacktly same. Is that one a Fancy goldfish or Fantail ?

  • where do you get that air tube pump

  • @sasander7 USE A AIR STONE FTW

  • i also got my gold fishes in same tank as this video and i have them over 2 years...people allways think they know better while there goldfishes die

  • people people people. my friend works at a pet store & it's perfectly fine for three fish to live in a 10 gallon tank. you do not need a big ass 50 gallon tank or two small ass goldfish. a goldfish grows to suit its environment.

  • Are they all okay? Because I'm getting a 10 gallon tank and Im gettinig a black moor goldfish

  • LUV comet :P <3

  • i love how they swim!

  • i dont think u should mix slender gldfish with fat ones. as in fancy with comet. the comet will eat the food faster and probably more than the fancies. cool tank though!!!

  • really nice i have no expericne with gold fish but jsut add 3 comet gold fish to my 10 gallon tank its cold water tank and yeah wat else shoudl i add?

  • Keep it at 3. Add SMALL decorations, preferably natural.

  • @xhopkinslax9 o okay well my tank is tempry any way am goign to add some dwarf chiclids once i get a new heater watch my videos

  • @xhopkinslax9 I started with 6 fish in a plain 10 gallon with the same gravel u have, a live plant, and a cave. the pleco died then the next 2 died. then i bought a filter waterconditionar and more shit and the last 3 are fine, but they where feeders

  • @xhopkinslax9 PLEASE REPLY IS IT OK TO PUT A COMET AND MOOR IN THE SAME TANK??

  • people don't know what they talking about.. I have 12 goldfish in my 10 gallon tank for over a year now & they living just fine.. healthy too, bcuz when i drop few flakes in,they be fighting for it...

  • people overreact... seriously...you can keep goldfish in a 10 gallon tank for several years. just be sure to upgrade later..i mean i know people who kept a goldfish in a bowl for five years! i know that's not long but still...people need to chill

  • lol

  • the tank is way too small for four fish. they will never live in there as long as they could live. Specially the comet can become like 20 years old with good care

  • Oh really limp dick? at about, oh idk, ONE FUCKING second in the video, there is a post saying they arent in this tank. God DAMN are you people ignorant.

  • @xhopkinslax9 limp dick? hmm ok i am a girl. i am saying its too small and goldfish will not live long as long as they could in that circomstances. That i take yours as example doesnt mean i dont get you put them in a bigger tank which is very good. In my opinion the people who put goldfish in 10g tanks are ignorant. The ones who write the tank is too small try to put some sense into others. never mind further...

  • @nightfairies:

Gotcha. you understand where i came from though lol

  • @nightfairie86 no offence but your a bitch

  • dude serouisly that is too small.. alright u might as well eat your fish thats torture

  • @nightfairie86 your retarded! that tank is big enough

  • hey I have a 10 gallon tanks do you think it would be okay If I put too small goldfish?

  • @nightfairie86 I have 3 comet living in my 10 gallon for 30 years, they were even passed down from my mom who used the same tank

  • @Timespartan111 WOW! I have had my small tank for about 5-6 months and my little fish have lasted 4 months... But 30 YEARS!

  • oh! this is cool! i have a 10 gallon and i just upadated it! but yours looks cooler!

  • dont worry about them sayin move them becasue at the end of the day what they say dosent matter and its clear that you take care of your fish. : )

  • Beautiful Black Moor!

  • Thank Christ you moved them into a bigger tank.

  • My dad is pretty cheap and will only let me have a 5 gallon tank and i want to get a black moore and put it in there would it be healthy for it to stay there until my dad sees it needs a bigger tank

  • yeah sure i guess just look after it well and give it a nice surrounding.

    Like some plants,gravel, rocks.

    That sort of thing

As long as it has a bit of space and theres only 1 fish it should be fine.

My dad is just the same but hopefully i'm getting a pretty decent tank by christmas.

    Good luck!

  • when those fish get bigger especially the oranda, it will be wayyyy to small but for now it is fine

  • i mean i have 6 goldys haha

  • I have 5 goldfish in a 10G and they have been healthy and active for over a year so you don't have to listen to everyone, But if you prefure to go to youtube for goldsish info thats great but if I were you i would probably go to google or something more advanced!:)

  • yea but are they growing cause overcrowding prevent growing

  • Thank you! You really got my spirits up! I have 3 common and 1 fantail and the fantail is new but the three are thriving!

:D so they really do only grow as big as you want them to! YAY!

  • if i were u i would raise the tank level a little more so they have some more room....lol

  • damn shutup people your not experts damn it is okay ffs i betyou would put the in a 10 g sheesh dumbasses

  • yeah im kinda pissed i just bought a 10 gallon and i already have one gold and i want another but apparently retards are saying thats not enough so how long do you think i should wait to buy another

  • Just keep 2 goldfish in a 10 gallon. I have had my 2 goldfish in a 10 gallon for a long time with the proper filter, water changes, and the right amount of food they are perfectly fine.;

  • Yeah the ugly side of youtube...everyone wants to give there opinion and tell you what to do like there all experts. Do what you think is right, I would say it's perfectly fine. You don't need to wait but when you get a new one just let it sit in the tank in its bag so it gets used to the temperature, and keep the tank lights off for 24 hours so the new fish is more relaxed. Im not just saying this shit, I actually got that info from a video by a real fish selling company. Good luck.

  • Thanks, I got a nother fish and they are both fine. Its been almost two weeks now.

  • i keep three small goldfish in a ten gallon and they are fine.....ive even seen people keep up to four...four is bad for a 10G though

all you have to do is switch them to a bigger tank if they grow to much

  • @roosterrocks hey it is fine. I actually asked the lady at the pet store and she said that having more then 1 gold fish is fine in a 10 gallon tank. she suggested to up grade later on to a 15 or 20 gallon tank.

but the way i see it is if the fish are happy then do what you think is best. If you have a great strong filter and air pump then you should be ok with more fish in a 10 gallon. I have 4 in a 10 gallon. 2 lg comets and 2 sm comets gold fish.

  • yea everybody shutup. theyre fine... god. maybe did you think of that he didnt have enough money for the new tank? or maybe the fish like all the company? THINK

  • most fish are very inexpensive when bought young, caring for them over their lifetimes is what adds up, well worth every penny/cent in my opinion!

  • i have a goldfish i just got him yesterday

  • wait comet are the 12 cent gold fish?

  • Either them or the common

  • i love the tank and the black gold fish how much are the us dollors?

  • I LOVE THESE GOLDFISH!!!!

  • I like the white one with the red fins

  • Fyi...you should have no more than two goldfish for a 10 gallon tank. These fancy goldfish can grow to be up to 9 inches long and also need places to hide.

  • I HAVE A NEW TANK, I HAVE NEW VIDEOS

  • wow nice tank. Hey does anybody know what other fish can go with goldfish. I have a 30 gallon fish tank!!!

  • i had a peacock eel in my fish tank and te eel never did anything to it

  • i used to have fancy's like that but the common goldfish wanted to mate with them and killed them

  • plz tell me how much this tank cost u?

  • sorry i just saw this - like 10 bucks lmao. if you live in NY are you interested

  • nice!!! i bought 2 b. moors and 2 comets 2 days ago! thay are first fishes in my life! i love them

  • I have two black moors in a 10g tank and they do fine. I have videos up of my tank. Yea eventually they will be put in a bigger tank but i have read alot about black moors and people are way dramatic about their care. I actually bought a book that lists tank sizes for and how many fish you can have in them and he suggest no more than 2 for a 10g. I'd recommend people follow a published book before that of a stranger. Also black moors get 6" not including the tail. This is the norm.

  • I realy hope you have a bigger tank for all those fish by now. If not you are drastically lowering their life span, no matter how good your filter, pump and cleaning reg is. 10 gallons is hardly enough room for one juvenile goldie, let alone 4 near adults.

  • jesus fuck, i put up a video of a new tank about 2 months ago

  • ok thanks alot

  • do you ever give you goldfish treats or something else than flakes? if you do tell me what. mine ae pretty small. nice vid

  • flakes really are the best, but i stay away from goldfish flakes. Get cichlid pellets or oscar flakes. Deffinitely buy bloodworms, but not freeze dried, buy the frozen ones and thaw them out. Thats really all they need to be happy

  • too much protein for goldfish is bad, goldfish flakes are better than ciclid or oscar pellets or frozen foods. though they're great as a once a week treat!

  • I have a blackmoor but the goldfish I had attacked his eyes hes blind now still alive I got him a new tank but im wondering if you had this problem if its common.

  • nah theyre both really calm

  • the ryukin looks likea fantail but i see the line now ^^

  • yeah man i can see that, this was taken as he was just a little guy, now that theyre like 4 months older, theyre both very well defined and bigger. you can deff tell hes a ryukin now lol

  • can a goldfish live n a 10 gallon all their life?

  • they CAN but they really wouldnt like it. I mean, i wouldnt recommend it. im waiting on my parents to FINALLY understand that they dont like the 10 so i can upgrade. If your gonna get a goldfish like mine (which surprisingly got rather big), id only recommend getting ONE for a 10 gallon. The Best bet is also not necessarily a 30 gallon. Get a 20 Long - the best for almost EVERY small/medium fish. Yeah, black moors can be 14 inches long. They also have to be 6 years old! anyway, yes they deff can

  • i look after the ryukins there da best

  • Get those little dudes a 30 gallon at least pronto! I love your black moor though, beautiful finnage!

  • the oranda has been gone and the comet was just in there for my two vids, now its only the black moor and the ryukin, just as a grow out tank =) thanks!

  • looks absolutely awesome

  • sweet fish.
