  • Why is there such a big price difference from baby koi to adult koi?? are they difficult to keep alive or what?? Please answer if you think you know!!

  • I would love t see a pond of all white giant koi.

  • the white koi is a platinum ogon.

i got one in my pond he is arround the 54 cm

  • I've once gone fishing for these.

I couldn't catch one, they are not easy.

  • @Fleskhjerta1 u cant fish for then there bottom feeders they eat dead leaves

  • Expensive sushi?

  • Ok so how are these different from normal koi at petshops?

  • if the kois from the pet shop are from japan they are good. if they comming from somewhere else.. the dont get the right blood line and the pictures on the fish are not that sharp as the one from japan.

  • "not as sharp" they are intelligent fish?

  • they got brains and they know who you are..

    realy strange to see.

    but they know it.

with not as sharp i ment the picture on the fish. like the red white and black on the koi carp above. its realy bright collors and realy sharp.

  • wow thats alot for a fish, absolutely beutiful fish though really cute XD but i guess if that fish is really awsome it's worth the money.

  • most show koi are imported. they are fed color enhancing food and are extremely healthy

store bought koi are bred inside the us.

  • wow beautiful

  • about $3.56 at my local pet store.

  • uhm yea for that fish try hundreds of dollars

  • Top Koi exchange hands for £500,000 in Japan these days. A lot more than the £100,000 stated by KoiFan 8 months ago.

  • On a dutch tv program someone joked he would pay 2 miljon euro's, the breeder just laught and said he wouldn't sell the koi because he got more money by winning shows.. grtz Bas

  • beautiful !

  • 10000 grand

  • how much would this one cost?

  • This is something to ask the owner but they probably wouldn't sell(koi easily become part of your family). Figures of £100,000-£60,000 have changed hands for top koi in Japan. This koi in the UK wasn't the overall winner but would easily be worth the price of a nice new car. I'd say £25,000 but koi are like art so it depends on what people are prepared to pay.

  • in fact i know who owns this koi his name is john hellens and he goes to my koi club
