My sister in law got one a few days ago and it too had the Youtube "app" / icon on the desktop. It loads the YouTube site, but always says something like the file is the "wrong format" or "incopatable" or something when that "media player" comes up. How did you resolve your problem?
Yes. It is the 300Mhz model. It doesn't play divx or xvid files very well without downconverting to a lower bitrate. But it does work ok with a program called ORB that lets you stream video in just about any format from your pc to your mini. Google ORB for more info.
