it moves all around.. but I think what you're asking is if the gate has full 360 and no locks.. well it has locks and yes is 4. so is like square based. moves in all directions but the corners are bigger.

I would still go for the TE stick, its a masterpiece. It plays/feels exactly the same as the SF4 arcade cabinet. Its the best arcade stick ever made and it looks amazing

every arcade in asia and tournaments use a square gate. octogates are mostly for games like soccer where you'll need all the 8 directions.

The only negative thing is the square gate that makes it hard to do moves for people who are used to octagon gates that they use in American arcades. I ordered my octagonal gate and then I can get better response on my moves. It feels pretty nice though and yes, you can pull off harder combos with a stick compared to a 360 controller.

Is this TE stick for X360 also PS3 compatible?, because it has a usb cable and if you plug it in the PS3 you may also can use it there in both consoles, i have an old adapter for the PC that allows you to use the GC controller and it works on PS3 so that might be possible with the X360 Stick too, reply please!

Nope the 360 one will not work on ps3, the trouble is that Microsoft has some pretty hefty security in their controllers, the only reason they work on pc's is because MS decided to add that function themselves (only XP service pack 2 or vista). It'll take some pretty serious hackage to get that stick to work on a ps3, like uh buying a second pcb to put in the stick.

I haven't tried it myself, but it should be. All of the buttons map to the 360 controls so the layout may not be perfect, but it'll work.

Hi I have a question about your stick I have the same one for 360....You know how you baby your stick for the first few days cause you dont want anything to go wrong with it....then you play online a few games get use to it them bam find something wrong you didn't notice before. So here's what went wrong with my stick, I was in crouch block, (Left down....) when i noticed it clicked akwardly...So i tesed it a few more times and it clicks a little on all corners but noticeably different in Cvlock

lol im modding my SE and lemme tell ya, it's not cheap. Especially when SE is also sold out. I had to buy my SE for $160 which is more than the retail TE price ($150).

Modding it doesn't necessarily mean it's gonna be better. But if you do know your stuff, go for it. Sanwa and Seimitsu parts do come cheap at lizardlick tho. Too bad they're sold out at the moment

Yeah baby! You know what? I didn't pre-order mine - theye just had two in a local store - one fore 360, one for PS3. I wasn't sure about it until I looked into it and realised it was all Sanwa parts so I grabbed the 360 one; I love it! I'm going to be broke for a while but it was worth it - I guess I was lucky to have found it! The SE looks cool too though - better artwork and extras (the special moves decal), just buy that and mod it with Sanwa parts! Easy!
