  • why? its a feeling,,,,,like a fantasy....in a story . the changing themes,,,how about the search for musical something! heheh the lost chord man! I do think that brahms etc sought the same.not just a popular tune! always something more...just around the corner. Yes>?

  • If you dont like this, you dont like Yes.

  • I like YES but I've always thought this song SUCKED! Fragmentated with a "screechy" guitar sound and sounding like they are making up the words as they go along, I like many YES tunes but this one I just don't get why people like it??

Tell me WHY you like this song.

  • @455Transam don't worry, i hate it too. the only yes album i really dig is fragile.

  • 40 years since the world could hear this masterpiece. The pinnacle ot symphonic rock.

  • man i thought the song roundabout was amazing. i've been missing out on some great music.

  • Vaya, han retirado la segunda parte de este tema, que es el que más me gusta.

Hell, the've put out the second part of this song, wich is the one I love the most.

  • Close to the Edge of Realization that all beliefs systems are interlocked ...so close...coming to it..getting ready to take that leap of faith.

  • i have a copy of ona record thats never been opened and also a radio promo

  • used to drop l in the woods put this on the car stereo with a old home speaker on top of th ecars roof ,roam and trip in the woods for hours and the music always led us back

  • LSD

  • Lovely! Thanks for posting! I need to get this thing on cd. I have it on vinyl but the stupid thing is I don't even own a record player anymore. :(

  • I love Jon's vocals there's no one else like him! I bought Close to the Edge album in 1973 and played it over and over still never tire of it. It's like a distant dream now, but I saw Yes do this song in concert in August 1977 at the New Haven Coliseum. And then again in March 1984 at the Thomas and Mack in Las Vegas. There's nothing as heavenly as hearing Yes in concert. This is my big YES vote to let's bring back good old Prog Rock! Nothing like it exists now.

  • @zythman prog rock is still around, look up The Mars Volta, their alot different but cool tunes if you ask me

    but YES forever

  • @MegaKbar when ever i think of a modern day yes i always think dream theater, they are more metal but everything is more metal nowadays lol
