YEH As soon as I cross the border illegally i should be given a sandwich & a job and NOT be treated any different than a U.S. citizen. i shouldn't ahve to fear being discovered. I worked hard to get across the border and I DEMAND not to be caught. It's my Right plus I have 3 kids born her now. how can I leave them. I got away with it so the law should just let us get away with it. This is the arrogance that bothers me! I'm against racism/ abuse but don't expect 2 get a free pass if u r illegal

OK I'm very liberal but if you came across illegally then you should be afraid of getting caught. I want to sneak & live in Brazil and work but I wouldn't expect to have the same Rights of legal citizens or expect not to be deported if caught. When visiting there i carry my passport everywhere. duh? So I don't get the arrogance of the Illegal people even though I hate racism and profiling. If this is what going to happen then there IS a problem with the implementation of this Law

@wigginsdesign you have to understand that the problem is profiling thats why it's such a big deal.. we understand if hispanics are caught they might be deported but it should'nt be a law to look for them because this affects hispanics that are here legally. whats so hard to understand.

I understand that white people are afraid of the changing demographics of America, conservatives are afraid that different groups within the US will change influence and power balances, but Mexicans and latinos just want a small niche a little of the bounty that the US has to offer, and it's not much.

why is it so hard for the US to implement laws against business owners who hire illegal immigrants in the 1st place? You need to get to the root of the problem. No jobs, no illegal immigrants, period. Putting aside racism, here in Germany, business owners are fined severely if they are found to hire illegal immigrants (because that problem exists worldwide), many have their businesses closed and assets seized.

In fact there are heavy consequences for cops that pull you over for that reason! Do you really think that a cop who worked hard to get where they are will be that ignorant and put their job at risk????? What this law is showing is the ignorance of "brown people"!

Wow when was the last time you took a history class. This land DID NOT belong to the mexicans..........it belonged to the indians! By the way, at my job to day at a medical facility, a guy with a green card came in with free U.S. health insurance! This is what is destroying our healthcare system!

@annapreble by the way, I have no problem with the guy having a green card.......the problem I have is that he was using FREE U.S. health insurance. If I go to Mexico, I am required to BUY mexican insurance! So why should a non citizen be able to use our free healthcare??????? Do you pay taxes??????? Do you understand where your taxes go??????????? Maybe you should read up on that!
