  • who wouldnt like to train with him? you have fun while doing so cause he is not boring at all!

  • Frank Mur.

    The arm breaker :P

  • Mir seems like he's an excellent teacher, I never cared whether he won or lost before but my views on him have changed a little for the better seeing these videos.

  • I would pay so mcuh to get one on one training with Mir for a week/month.even if its just going to watch him train in his gym but these top fighterd are always training busy and secretively for huge fights.. :(

  • It's the little things that makes you great.

  • mir techniques work aslong as the opponent is stunned for 2 seconds every 5 seconds

  • does mir teach at his gym?

  • @filipinoking55 nope, he's there for few episodes.

  • FRANK LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT NOW!!!!

  • who is he a black belt under?

  • @ciscon07 Ricardo Pires. He now trains under robert drysdale and demian maia

  • nice vid..Mir really knows his job

  • ya this frank mir series is making me really happy

  • I used to not like Mir at all put after watching this Mir series he is an outstanding teacher and I will take a lot more interest in his fights for now on! Great posts

  • Thank you!!!! i've been searching for a counter to that pass

  • that is one of the coolest counter to a counter ever

  • @guthro123 you do not know jiu jitsu then. the dudes sittin in it all video pause it at 152 sec into it frank knows this he just wasnt show that move

  • Learnt so much by watching these, just by listening to how he does it, obviously watching but like he said in the first part. its all based on principles. and he teaches the principles and shows you how they work in a real situation, rather than this is how to do a triangle, if they escape.... well try something else, he shows how a submission escape can work in your favour regardless. fantastic series. Mir is an awesome teacher.

  • hello why dont you finish with a omaplata

  • @postbout Because its not there.

  • He's a great teacher

  • that is sneaky but looks def. promising hoping to try it out soon

  • I don't know why people want to leave negative remarks, when Frank is obviously a very knowledgeable instructor. If people disagree or dislike the video, then don't watch it!

  • Where was this filmed??

  • Another move that is just genius! this will help me so much ! Thanks

  • JUst like to take the opportunity to send out a big thankyou to Submissions 101 and in particularly Ari Bolden for sharing there knowledge of jiu-jitsu you guys have converted me to BJJ awesome martial art. Keep up the good work

  • @john46045 Damn right

  • very slick

  • dam i wish i could be in your class when he came

  • Omg this is awesome :P I'm gonna try this one next time! :D Just try to do a lame triangle on purpose and then totally p0wn them! :D

  • go mir go! haha

  • @BigaznPARK Brock probably wouldn't use the guard pass to get out of the triangle anyway. If he did, there's no reason it wouldn't work. However, with Brock's speed and athleticism, getting his back like that wouldn't be such a cakewalk.

  • 8 and 9 are especially excellent!

  • Frank is one of my favorate fighter in UFC.

    He's a big dude.

  • Frank is a grappling shaman. Ari, this Mir series is awesome. Thanks for sharing.

  • @YamaRider93 I am glad you liked Yama!

  • @Submissions101 Mir isn't the only Shaman here, you guys are GREAT

I've recommended you to everyone I know that would be interested and you have to be known if you have MIR IN YOUR GYM XD

Thank you for the great vids,

Your friend and brother in the arts,

    Ryan

  • @Submissions101 Great job with the videos and cant wait to see more!!!

  • This is great!

  • Great vidz with Frank Mir...thx

  • Check out my MMA training circuits for good conditioning

  • If he can get crocop on the ground, which is not the hardest thing to do, he will have a huge advantage. That said, Mir hasnt lasted to long in his last few fights. CroCop is a much better fight for him than Nog would have been.

  • Nice!!

  • Frank mir is a big guy!! smart too!

  • This will help.

  • Mir should be a coach on TUF.

  • @GhostMarksman He WAS a coach on TUF against Nog.

  • @GhostMarksman he already has. but yeah i'd like to see him coach again

  • @prebirth91 1 second too late bud

  • @GhostMarksman he was noob

  • Let me see him do it against CRO Cop =)

  • jesus christ thats a big guy

  • Brilliant vids, thanks again to Frank and Sub101 for making this happen!

  • super cool! All these series are fantastic!!

  • god i love Frank Mir's game

  • That's fantastic

  • wish i could train with that fool

  • oh snap. that is awesome.

  • nice, this always happens to me

  • Money!!

  • i never seen this, thank you

  • Nice!

  • the stuff mir shoved was so cash! thx

  • When Frank fails a sub in the first 10 seconds of being on his back he gets stuck in side control and pounded out. Rinse and repeat.

    Good technique though

  • @jitteryjoe you are a bufoon. Go train.

  • So simple but so freeking great. On my fave list right now. Thanks Mr. Mir and sub101

  • damn man, im gonna have fun doing that later in training.

  • Same exact concept applies when your opponent uses a single or double under pass to pass your guard.

Frank is excellent at breaking down the principles and applying them to all aspects of the game. He is a true technician and it's guys like him that make the entire game evolve.

    Thanks for sharing, Ari!

  • i feel real stupid now.

  • that was great!

  • frank is obviously a fantastic coach

  • @STEVEiaSTUD So well spoken.

  • Excellent going to try it today :)
