  • The first ones LVS was out. Ha someone half assed their inspection. Lol seein them take off at night is def bad ass though. And they really do shake the ground they're so loud.. U can't tell from watching a video how loud it is, it's awesome if u can watch it up close.

  • that was sexy

  • intimidating ......

  • I miss seeing the F15s taking off from Eglin AFB almost every night at dusk. Definately an awesome sight.

  • @Karpiel73 when? lol ,, 60th 82-85 ;) i miss that stuff too !

  • "Look at that aaaaaaaaaaah"

  • ive flown that first one that took off haha

  • I dont want to be the youtube "dick", but do you know what model F-15 that is?

  • @ktm511 first one that took off was a D model 2 seater, second one was a C model

  • Hahaha! good man! just check'n yo!

  • @ktm511 haha come on now... i work on them every stinkin day

  • Its all good bro! keep doing it! I have to ask because of some people on youtube like to over do it.

  • @ktm511 love this vid come to find out my uncle who is stationed there was the one who took off in the d model hopefully in two years when im old enough im gonna be a pilot its cool having family who work/fly these every day its cool to learn stuff from them in total if you count me three of my family members are at langley

  • @andrewburbach Weird to see a D with wing tanks. Our two D's always just use a centerline because the wing tanks can mess up how they handle.

  • @ktm511 Tail Code is FF on them, which means they are from Langley AFB, which means they are C and D models.

  • @Josh3B im sure that is exactly what they said.............

  • @ktm511 I'm pretty sure those are F-15s are C model

  • its fun to fly these victor therasting fighter jet with afterburner wooooooow awesome

  • Nice bit of footage, especially near the end when the second plane is climbing against the twilight sky.

  • Don't fuck with the american airforce lmao

  • i know i know people will think thi sis stupid but f-15's should stay in the service. whoever cut the funding for the war producs so f-22's production has been halted or something cuz its the most expensive plane ever or some bullshit, but both the f-15 and -22 are badass i mean TOTAL in '72 the f-15 was first flown and since then only 4 accidents have been reported since then one with a wingman firing a missle at the commander XD. ill tell you the rest in my next message i got 17 letters left.

  • anyway my dumbly-awesome solution: slip on all the technology from the raptor onto the eagle. period.

  • problem with that is, the stresses that the F-22 can generate would tear the Eagle to pieces, the thrust vectoring alone would most likely tear the wings off (eagles have problems keeping their wings on if they are not meticulously maintained). Cool Idea but I think the current production of the F-22 (which is not CUT but being phased out in 2011) is more than a match for any air force globally.

  • one other thing...if the economy turns around miraculously and we all the sudden get a billions dollars per person (for some awesome reason) we could starts making something that id like personally even tho ifs fictional its called the adf-0f falken (search it)

  • definitely, if you've ever seen the F 22 in action, it'll beat any other plane.

  • I agree. The F 15 is still a great plane. The F 18 can't even beet it's top speed. The F22 may replace both someday, but for now, keep the F 15.

  • @HippiesProductions google F-15 silent eagle...

  • Great video! I hope you were wearing earplugs! I know I wasn't with an F-18 with afterburner on....

  • Great video!

  • thats amazing !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i am know flying f/18 hornets in the USMC forces

  • Are you sure.......The pilots I that I know can spell. How did you become a pilot?

  • awesome! my dad was stationed at langley back in 1975. we haven't been back there since. bet things have changed a lot in the last 33 years.

  • Well i bet the only thing that has really changed is the moving around of squadron buildings and ofcourse the NEW F-22 Raptors that are now stationed here. I love man! The raptor is the most deadliest jet Ive ever seen and im glad to have them here.

  • Have the old guys, if some are still around, tell you about the time in mid 1970s when they went to the AGS concept and the Lt. that ordered the new hats wasn't happy with just the letters AGS so he ordered the hats with the initals for the First Aircraft Generation Squadron (FAGS). God!! What a laugh THAT was!!!
