@arjennovic thats because they build them to last 200,000miles. Ferarri gets high numbers from small displacement, but need extensive maintenance at every 5000 and 10000 interval.

In the 5th grade there was a friend who's mother drove a 70'mach I. And she was gorgeous in it. About 8 years later I dated a girl who's sister and her BF bought that car. I know the entire family and they re-built the front end, re-painted it with a scenery on the side. I remember palm trees-beach scene. The car was green. They took it out to L.A. and sold it. I bet that car is still around. 69-72 screams TESTOSTERONE.

@imnotlikethem69 It seems to happen to every car from back then, my dad's 72 CJ-5 Jeep did the same thing, just start and run it for like 2 minutes every couple of days if you won't be driving it for a week or two and it will be fine. Even my 77 K10 does it after it sits for 2 or so weeks.
