Hey, quick question! I'm in between buying just the standard edition of Star Wars The Old Republic or getting the V.I.P package for LOTRO. I really don't know which to choose. I LOVE both stories and I love the lore both has to offer. I've played LOTRO before as FREE and loved it! So if I get SWTOR it will only be the basic package. If I decide with LOTRO I would be getting V.I.P. Which should I get?
@illuvitarv5 The original throne of Arnor (the Dunedain race) was at Annuminas, which is on Lake Evendim. Annuminas was where men believed the lost King would return. After the events of "The Return of the King" Aragorn and Arwen reclaimed and lived in Annuminas for a time. The capital of Arnor became Fornost (after Annuminas was destroyed) - which is in northern Eriador, south of Angmar, North of Breeland. Fornost was taken over by the Witch-King and it was the center of his kingdom for a time
i love this game i played it for like 5 years and have 7 lvl 65s i just wish they would impove the graphics its in dire need of a graphics update :D still i would reccoment lotro amazing game brings back memorys :D
@TheSymono not to much... when you playing game you making tp ( turbine points ) by deeds.... and with that you can open anything ( new zones, quests, expansion.... )
what happens when all the story finishes when frodo destroys the ring will it be the end of lotro or will they think of more new ideas and make another dark shadows take over middle earth but this time not sauron but something different that comes beyond middle earth
@chnl97mta well, they just announced the story moving to isengard, so if they keep moving along at that pace id say itll be a while until they have to worry about whats next. My bet is that theyll keep that game around and just work on an entirely new game focusing on the fight with Morgoth or something like that.
I love the world they've created on lotro but the combat is nothing new and that's why i quit =( if they had the gameplay of darkfall in lotro world... that would be a dream come true
I play WoW and I own LOTRO but I never really got into it... Does it get better at higher levels? Because I only got to level 7 so I never really gave it a chance
yea !! i was thinking the same,keep level and u will find that it is one of the best mmorpg ! level 30 u can do skirmishes , and level 60+ u can get many different gear types and u can do alot of raiding and pvp is also kinda fun !
"If you survive" being the key phrase there. XD

Anniminas was the original. The first capital of Arnor. Minas Trith came after, and was the second capital of Gondor.
