@AilingBest Well we can see that he doesn't look down on her for working the job, in fact he seems to hold them in high regard. Not to mention he's not in the best of business himself. As to why he doesn't just give her money who knows maybe she would rather work to care for her family rather than have someone else do it.

But I have to say Steven comes off as a great and loving guy with this episode with great morals except when it comes to business , I wouldn't mind a godfather like him.
