maybe it's because his previous album (Continuum) was so damn good, or his performance in "Where the Light Is" (yeah, I know it's almost four years ago) was so freaking awesome, but I just finished going through this album and it didn't blow me away. It wasn't bad, but none of the songs really "grabbed" me.

Maybe Johnny's mellowing in his "old" age, but I really hope he does another kick-ass album with the Trio or his new album has more funky, bluesy or intense music.
