How odd, all that talk about quality an speed of service as being the primary drivers AND YET not once did anyone mention the elephant in the room, COST. Cost to provide that "quality and speed" is much lower in India, where the standard of living, as well as, the cost of living is much lower.

I remember saying to a friend in the 1970's that if we start sending jobs overseas it won't stop until our standard of living drops to met their standard of living.

No need to 'stop' globalization - it is failing on its own as we are now seeing. India is a wannabe fraud who cannot do the work. They can't even answer phones, let alone write software. Dell and Delta both brought back their call centers a few months ago. Apple closed their Indian R&D center in 2006. MIT had to cancel Media Lab Asia after Indian managers faked invoices.
