You have to use Flatwound strings;) that will work a lot better:)

Thanks for this vid, I'm always seeing these on eBay and wondered what they were like - the seller's feedback wasn't great and lots of negative comments were about the poor fret dressing (not a problem here, obviously! haha). is the neck a bolt-on?
