we got such brochures in elementary school. teachers taked to us about scientology and what bad things they do.

"Just" stopped? That was over 3 years ago, and mainly because Co$ has no branch office there and LESS THAN 20 MEMBERS in the whole state. They're simply not worth the effort, lol. Even if the attempt to ban Co$ in Germany fails, I worry not. Less and less money will flow into the pockets of your leaders, and once you lose your tax exempt status, branches worldwide will be closed one after the other.

Sorry, oschaper, the rules of the EU legislation stand not above the German Constitution. Scientology is not under surveilance of police, it is under surveilance of the Office for the protection of the constitution because of evidence of actions against the constitution. Every church, even a cult is also an association.
Article 18 German Basic law says who ever use the freedom of association against the constitution forfeit basic rights.
In this case there is no protection from the EU for you.

The other funny thing is, being anonymous in Anonymous, we know it's not ABOUT US as Anonymous, or about US getting coverage (though it's not unwelcome). The point is to raise critical attention to the church of Scientology in its current form. Considering the (rather damning) CNN interview with a certain rattled CoS spokesman and Jenna Miscavige not long ago.. not too bad :)

What message did USA get, exactly? The spokesman was asked, point blank, WHAT Scientologists believe, and all he did was evade the answer and repeat over and over that you'd have to go into the Scientology orgs to find out. The USA ALSO learned that, for all the CoS' efforts to claim otherwise, the FBI had found nothing linking Anonymous to illegal activity. As for MAXIM, that's 2.5 million of the highest income magazine readers whose money the CoS won't get.
