Step 11-Get your essay back. If it's a bad mark, figure you deserve it, but still think that the TA is an asshole. If it's a good mark, have conditional pride in yourself, but deep down in your gut realize the TA is nothing but a good hearted fool whose astounding only when you think of how they were able to even get their undergrad in the first place.
