@MetalHeart8787 u fool i had gt 8 and loved it but had 2 give it up cause the sounds are cheap with lots of noise, i have hd500 now much better sounds with a little less noise and the fat sandwich is amazin, its so fuckin good its crazy! ive also got ultimate octive and sc-2 valve distortion runnin through a jsx head and 2x12 vintage celestion cab. and its insane what the sandwich can do, it just gets so crunchy and smooth mmmmmmm....... and line 6 wah is the best, i needed that wah, boss=cheap

@MetalHeart8787 thats the dumbest reason not to try something. Boss sucks. But if you're still stupid then look up analogman and check out there modified boss line. They put premo parts in them and take the junk out.

I beg to differ. Most of the boss range is great bang for the buck gear, suggesting ALL their effects suck either means you're somewhat of a snob, or you haven't tried all boss pedals...

Excellent boss peds: FZ-2, VB-2, the DD series, RC-2/3...Just to name a few. Just mpo ofcourse, different strokes for different folk I guess...

I don't know whether it's the pedal or the guitar but it's not quite pulling of the Van Halen sound :) To me it sounds more like a fuzz pedal than a distortion pedal. It does sound good but it's not something that I would use.
