James Newton Howard is a genius. Standing on the shoulders of John Williams, the music sounds amazing, same three note strategies like JAWS, Star Wars, music is not a band aid as long as it crescendoes the film. M. Night, there is no 5% sorry, lol, the notes are what it is. Emotion comes from the heart and music flows from the heart. James Newton Howard's music makes me want to be in the music and film business. Give me a chance, M Night? Would love to work scripts with you.
One of my favorite quotes, "Ultimately, when you believe this movie can play with no music, you can trust your composer to come in and improve the movie.
JNH... best composer, in my eyes, living today. He is untouchable; no pun intended. There is only one song ever created that is better than Hand of Fate in my opinion, and that is The Gravel Road. He is the reason I write and compose music. If I ever get the honor of meeting him I think i would explode!
Yes JNH is definetely on of the best composer's living today! In eyes James Horner is the best:P Gravel Road is indeed one of the best pieces ever written. Personally i prefer the vote of the Village:-) The Village is my favorite soundtrack of JNH. And i would explode too if i ever meet him!
Juggernoud? You should definatley play Hand of Fate part II!!! that is so beautiful, so emotional, soooo...okay, I can't find words! When I listen to that song, it feels like that the Earth has been born on new, and all the evil is gone.
HEY!! I sended you a message a few seconds ago:P i didnt see this comment yet!! But you know what??!! I am practising this one really HARD:P hehe, that is really a coincidence. hahaha you know i cooperate (to make a digital version of his handwritten manuscript) with my new friend Marco Longo who really made a STUNNING arrangement. Which contains foremost the second part:P But i like the whole arrangement of [niu]:D
Cool:D I didn't know you liked JNH also very much:D I don't think you can give JNH a better compliment:D I don't know which i like more. Although i think some of Horner's scores are SOOO epic and powerful that no one ever in the world can beat him. So therefore he is the best i think:D But almost all of JNH scores are great and Horner as his up's and downs... Well that is mine opinion:-) But really cool Jeremy you like JNH also:D
love it

I've loved M. Night's and James' partnership so much. Particularly on Signs, The Village, and Lady in the Water :)
