  • I always do this as a Recessional Hymn!

  • There's like a guy from every country here. The guy the camera zoomed in on looked to be either Spanish or Russian.

  • I love the hymn and have used it in my churches - I am the associate at 4. The people in the front don't seen to be as enthused as I am.

  • Lol at the guy not singing that the camera zoomed in on xD

  • I love this. They do this in our church. Number 634 I think.

  • ,,,lotsa folk here don't believe what's being sung (lots do) but the organist is rockin' it

  • Very, very interesting! Thanks for posting!

  • Dolan seems so happy that they're playing a traditional hymn! I heard that once while archbishop of Milwaukee, he celebrated Mass at a parish and the choir sang some bland "social justice" hymn and he said "they don't know me very well, do they?"

  • The two priests at the pulpit, are they cardinals or bishops?

  • @SantaFe19484 One is Archbishop Timothy Dolan, the Archbishop of New York. The second is Archbishop Celestino Migliore, the former Apostolic Delegate to the UN, now Papal Nuncio to Poland.

  • @SantaFe19484 Cardinals wear blood red, Bishops wear purple or pinkish, Priests wear black, and the Pope wears white.

  • This hymn tune sounds very English to me, IMHO...

  • @cnmmnc8852

This is actually a Welsh folk song known as "The Ash Grove". ;-)

  • The U.N. actually has a prayer service?
